Arc 1, Arc 2, Arc 3, Arc 4, Arc 5
Arc 1:
KetlinNarris: They had a new teacher. Why? Because the class had chased off the old one in the first month. Then they'd had a subsitute for a few days, and now this geek. Some really short guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, couldn't be more than 21. Teaching math. Well, not yet, right now he was announcing his name in a hesitant voice, fiddling with a pencil and smiling nervously. "I'm you're new teacher. Austin." He cleared his throat. It took most of the class a few moments to realize he'd given his first name.
Copga Misal: Asa was to busy talking to his best friend, Sara. He stuck out, if not just alittle. His long black hair was pulled in a half ponytail, several locks framing his face, his emerald green eyes having a certain spring to them. However, both he and his friend turned when they realized he spoke. "Austin...?" asked Asa.
KetlinNarris: "Yeah, are you done talking? Because I was planning on starting class sometime."
Copga Misal: Asa arched a brow, and leaned back. Okay smart guy... "Not really, if you'll give us a sec." he smirked, as he turned and began conversion with Sara, who could barely hold in her laughter. KetlinNarris: Austin walked over to them. "Stop talking or leave. Now. I'm here to teach math, and I'll do so for anyone willing to stay. I don't care if the whole class leaves. Just gives me more free time before the next. So please, feel free to continue your conversation outside."
Copga Misal: Asa pondered his grade... and decided it was not a good time to get in trouble. "Okay, sorry Mr... uh..." he pondered, but turned to the front, aswell as Sara.
KetlinNarris: "Austin. Please call me Austin," he said as he returned to the front, smiling again. He hadn't really stopped smiling during his threat, but it seemed more real now. "The last teacher told me you guys didnt learn anything while he was here. Anything you need to review?"
Copga Misal: "Uh, yeah... how does the xy coefficient come to play?" blinked Asa.
KetlinNarris: "In what?"
KetlinNarris: (*blinks*)
Copga Misal: (brain freeze...)
Copga Misal: (I don't know what to say)
KetlinNarris: (well then say that silly! we skip the math stuff and go to end of class, unless you want to cause trouble)
Copga Misal: (yes plz ^^;;; also got distracted while I was thinking)
KetlinNarris: (naturally..... *rolls eyes*)
KetlinNarris: It turned out that Austin....really knew math. Not as good in the teaching department, but he tended to write down almost everything on the board and leave it all up besides. His handwriting was almost entirely legibile. Class ended, some of the students either entirely bored or dazed.
Copga Misal: Asa sighed. That was gibberish to him. Sara tried to help, but she couldn't, sadly. Which worried her... they'd been friends since 4th grade, and they'd always helped eachother out. Asa sighed.
KetlinNarris: Austin began to erase the board. He glanced back to see if anyone was lagging behind or wanting his attention. He knew he wasnt always the most observant person when it came to that sort of thing.
Copga Misal: Asa gave Sara an appreciative smile, and tolled her he'd just stay after and ask Austin. She smiled and nodded and left with the rest of the others. Asa raised a hand.
KetlinNarris: He was the only one in the room, so Austin came over to him, hands stuck in his pockets. "Yeaaaaaah? Can I help you with something?"
Copga Misal: "Yeah... I am lost." Asa said with an embarassed look on his face.
KetlinNarris: Austin sat in the chair across from his own, sitting backwards in it and leaning his arms on the top. "Have you had this sort of trouble before?"
Copga Misal: "Constantly. It just doesn't click." Asa explained.
KetlinNarris: "Well... gosh that bites. I suppose you'll be coming in often then? Hmn... let me think... I might be free after school. And now. This is my planning period, but don't you have another class?
KetlinNarris: he began tapping his fingers nervously on the chair.
Copga Misal: "Hmm... yeah, but I bet I could get permission to stay for help... and nothin really planned after school either." he said, his eyes shifting to the right in recall.
KetlinNarris: "Well, er..." Austin cleared his throat. "I guess after school would be best most days. I can definately try. Do you want to stay now or...or not?"
Copga Misal: "now's good, just let me get permission from my teacher." he said, hopping up and dashing out.
KetlinNarris: Austin moved to sit on his desk, trying to take a few deep breaths before the kid got back. He began shuffling folders around automatically, checking to see that things were in place. Straight piles. That sort of thing.
Copga Misal: (hmmm. Is he gay?)
KetlinNarris: (NoooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
KetlinNarris: (*faints*)
Copga Misal: (*lmao*)
KetlinNarris: (Hes a nervous person)
Copga Misal: (roflmao sorry)
Copga Misal: (I thought he was like attracted to the kid or somethin*falls over laughin again*)
Copga Misal: (again sorry)
KetlinNarris: (O.O AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH no I would be more obvious about it. I would have FUN with that)
KetlinNarris: (hes a very nervous person. Panic attacks. That sort of thing)
Copga Misal: (and he's a secret agent?)
Copga Misal: (american Bond)
Copga Misal: (lol)
Copga Misal: Asa soon returned with the teacher's okay, and plopped back into his desk.
KetlinNarris: Austin tried to hid the nervous reaction. He managed to keep it down to one twich of the hand. He cleared his throat and came back over. They talked about math for a while. He didn't even ask if the kid had persmission. Only at the close of the period did he ask, "So, what days will you be coming for help? It would be nice to have a regular schedule, so I can tell other people to go away if I need to."
Copga Misal: "Hmm... well, when can you fit me in, Mr.Austin?"
KetlinNarris: "Hey I just got here and I dont plan to start running any clubs."
Copga Misal: Asa laughed, as he thought of the best times. "Well, Howabout on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays?"
KetlinNarris: "geez, all those days?" he asked nervously, then laughed as well. "I guess, sure."
~~~
Copga Misal: (wanna know a pop culture fact about Asa?)
KetlinNarris: The day of their next help-session, that is, next tuesday, Austin seemed a little off. Uusally students dont pay attention enough to their teachers to notice that sort of thing, but whether they did or not, he was dropping the chalk and stuttering a bit. Other than that though, nothing exploded.
KetlinNarris: (sure)
KetlinNarris: (er, they decided on after school)
KetlinNarris: When Asa came after school, Austin wasnt in the room.
Copga Misal: (A common known fact is, Sara, Asa's best friend, has a crush on him, though she'd never admit it. Asa is oblivious to this, and the fact that he to loves her.)
KetlinNarris: (lol ok)
Copga Misal: Asa scratched his head. He had a couple of choices... stay and wait... hunt him down... or leave. He decided to go out and look for him. And so, he began to stride the halls.
Copga Misal: *blink*
KetlinNarris: Near the bathroom, Austin was sitting on the floor, against a wall, a stack of books stitting next to him. He had his head on his knees and didn't realy hear Asa coming.
Copga Misal: "Uh... Mr.Austin?" Asa asked, crouching next to him. "Are you okay?"
KetlinNarris: He looked up immediately, startled enough to knock over the stack of books. "Oh, geez, sorry. Sorry... Yes, I'm-- Sorry," just as he dropped one of the books. "Is it time already? Has school ended? I'm sorry."
Copga Misal: "Yes, Mr.Austin... " Asa said, slightly nervously, as he picked up the book for him, idley glancing at the title.
Copga Misal: "It's alright, really.."
KetlinNarris: It was a math book of the higher sort. "Er... yes..." AUstin cleared his throat as he stood up. THis was the time he should be making himself seem responsible and in control. "I know that must have looked odd... nevermind. Sorry I was late. I think I need to go home."
KetlinNarris: (he speaks really fast. Even in my head.)
Copga Misal: (lol)
KetlinNarris: (His "..." is like a normal pause for most people)
Copga Misal: "Oh, uh, alright..." Asa said uneasily, scratching the back of his head in thought. He was being really wierd...
Copga Misal: (btw, the reason I let you in on Sara, is encase you need a reasonable hostage or somethin later)
KetlinNarris: (LOL)
KetlinNarris: (hmmnnn)
KetlinNarris: "N-never mind... I can't. I'm stuck her another hour: guess we ought to try talking about math them," he said, stumbling over his words in a rush to get them out. He was trying to distract himself.
Copga Misal: "Um... whatever you say Mr. Austin." Asa offered a smile, trying to put it out ofh is thoughts. What was up with this guy? He seemed antsier than usual.
KetlinNarris: Austin led the back to his room. Just before they got there he dropped all of his books again, this time kicking them angrily and leaving them out in the hall to go sit on his immaculately clean desk. "So...shall we begin, then?"
Copga Misal: "Sure." Asa nodded, opening his book to the assignment.
KetlinNarris: AUstin cleared his throat and tried to teach the boy, but things were coming out faster than normal and a bit jumbled up. He started stuttering.
Copga Misal: "Mr. Austin... are you alright? You seem... highly nervous today." Asa said cautiously, trying not to be offensive.
KetlinNarris: Austin caught off what he was saying immediately, nodding. His breathing sounded labored now. "I need to go home...office...phone..." He closed his eyes. THis was not a good thing to do th thrid day at work, or any day at work for that matter. His breathing was quickly becoming shallow.
KetlinNarris: caught=cut
Copga Misal: "Mr.Austin, do you want me to call 911?" Asa asked hastily, looking rather worried now at his teacher's disposition.
KetlinNarris: (this is so evil to do to a student)
KetlinNarris: (would YOU like dealing with a paniced teacher?)
Copga Misal: (nope.)
KetlinNarris: "NO!" he gasped. "Michael. Ask the office."
Copga Misal: "The principles office?" he asked weakly, severly confused. What was this babbling, about his home and office... teacher's didn't have offices...
KetlinNarris: "YES!" Austin might have started laughing at this point if he wasnt in the middle of a panic attack.
Copga Misal: "Right! Hold on!" Asa stood and dash down the hall for the principles office, barreling through the door and inbetween breath's asked about a Michael.
KetlinNarris: The lady at the desk gave him a strange look. "What are you talking about? Is something wrong?"
Copga Misal: "Mr.Austin asked for a Michael!" he gasped, pulling himself up, using the desk as leverage.
KetlinNarris: "Mh? Austin eh?" SHe commenced to look through his file. "What's wrong? Oh, here's a michael's number." She began dialing.
Copga Misal: "He's spazzing, like one of those, uh, uh...axe attacks- No! Anxiety attacks!" he spat, trying to make the right words come out. This was not his day...
KetlinNarris: "Yes," she spoke into the phone, "I need to speak to Michael. Austin--- yes. Ok." She hung up. "He's coming right over. Where is Austin?" she stood up to follow him.
Copga Misal: "In his class room, want me to take you there?"he offered, worried about the guy. He didn't seem all that bad, for a teacher.
KetlinNarris: She nodded. When they got there Austin had slid off the desk and was sorta going back to normal, amazingly so, actually. When he saw them, he seemed to have more trouble again, but only for a moment.
KetlinNarris: The lady peered at him through her glasses. "are you ok, Mr. Striedlin?"
Copga Misal: Asa blinked. Striedlin...?
KetlinNarris: "I'm ok," he mumbled in embarrasment. "Is Mike coming?"
KetlinNarris: "Yes, Sir."
KetlinNarris: "I'll be fine."
Copga Misal: Asa pondered for a moment. What did this Mike guy...eh, it was none of his buisness, anyway...
KetlinNarris: Austin calmed down. He convinced her to leave. "Sorry Asa."
Copga Misal: "It's alright... but are you sure you're fine, Mr.S?"
KetlinNarris: "I didn't tell you to call me Austin so that you could call me....anyhting else. Just forget you even heard my last name," he warned jokingly. "Yeah... I'm not going to die or anything.:"
Copga Misal: "Whoah, thank god... bout gave me a panic attack." Asa joked, clutching his heart. His breathing had finally returned to normal.
KetlinNarris: "Psh," that's not funny, Austin poked. "Eh. You do know that WAS a panic attack, right? Otherwise you made a terrible pun without knowing it."
Copga Misal: "Uh yeah, that's what I assumed... " Asa said nervously.
KetlinNarris: "It's Mike's fault. I'll kick him when he gets here." Austin laughed, leaning back a little. Laughing helped. "Sorry I scared you. Not very teacherly of me."
Copga Misal: "Oh it's alright." he managed a forgiving smile. "What'd he do?"
KetlinNarris: "Nothing. I just want to blame it on him," Austin lied. "He won't hurt me too bad if I kick 'im."
Copga Misal: Asa laughed nervously.What the hell??
KetlinNarris: "You know," he tried to explain, "Just a buddy of mine. That includes not killing me even if i blame him for silly things."
Copga Misal: "Oh... nice guy?" Asa asked.
KetlinNarris: "Um, yeah." Austin cleared his throat. "I feel so un-teacherly, letting this happen."
Copga Misal: "It's not you fault, Mr.Austin." Asa offered. "Very unstudently of me to take so long."
KetlinNarris: "You took long? Geez, how long was I sitting there? ah well, I'll be home soon, and Michael will... I dont know. take me hom ei guss."
Copga Misal: "Uh, sure, Mr.Austin." he nodded, winding down from the ordeal.
KetlinNarris: "Damn! I need to get a license." Austin was windng down too. "Instead I have to call Michael for a ride. Arg. Oh yeah, and then I need a car. Hmnn... might be a while..."
Copga Misal: Asa laughed slightly. "Yeah, car
Copga Misal: 's are a pain to get."
KetlinNarris: "I just moved here and I've never had a licence. Can you believe that?" he smield
Copga Misal: He smiled back. "Yeah, actually. It took me begging for a consistant year to get mine."
KetlinNarris: "Yeah, but Im....eh, bet you cant guess how old I am."
Copga Misal: "Uh..twenty?"
KetlinNarris: "Close enough. I've had many years to beg and swindle. I just never tried."
Copga Misal: "I desperately needed one... I thought." Asa blushed, as he came to a thought. "Have you always been a teacher?" he asked, tilting his head.
KetlinNarris: "What, since I was born?"
Copga Misal: He laughed. "I mean since you left Highschool."
KetlinNarris: "Nope. I finished college at 17."
Copga Misal: "Wow..."
KetlinNarris: "I'm a certified genius. So don't feel bad when I try to teach math and you don't get it right away."
Copga Misal: "W-wow... um, do you mind if I ask you a question?" he asked, scratching his nervously.
Copga Misal: *head
KetlinNarris: "No I don't. Go ahead."
Copga Misal: "If you're so smart, why did you waste your talents on such a bad paying job?" he asked, trying not to offend him in anyway
KetlinNarris: Austin grinned at him. "I guess you have a lot to learn. I'm tryng it out. I think I like it, if I can remmeber....er, if I can keep a better hold on my nervous tendancies."
Copga Misal: "Oh... a job you like over a job with better pay... sounds right." nodded Asa thoughtfully.
KetlinNarris: "It's either that or... eh. Hmn, are you stuck here or what?"
Copga Misal: "Hmm? Oh, not really, just nowhere else to go, anyway."
KetlinNarris: "I thought I might be keeping you. You're free to go of course. It's not like I can concentrate on math right now."
Copga Misal: "Alright, Mr.Austin. See ya tomorrow!" he called, strolling out with his hands resting on the back of his head.
KetlinNarris: "Have a good rest of the day," Austin wished him.
Copga Misal: Asa went out to the parking lot, slid into his car window, slipped in the keys, and drove off.
KetlinNarris: (now I have to plan MORE evilness. Ah yes. I believe I was thinking he'd try to cop out of being a gov agent. But I think they need to be more confortable with eachother before Asa can be easily dragged along. Or something weird needs to happen.)
Copga Misal: (hmmm... thoughts roll through my mind)
KetlinNarris: (any of them useful? :P we can skip time to help of curse. He WILL be helping him with math 3 times a week)
Copga Misal: (hmmm... none useful. He could lend some hints that Sara has a crush on him, and that he seems to reciprocate it.)
KetlinNarris: (lol, if you want to do that. And then we could set it up so that it would be nice of him to take Austin home. something like anoter panic attack, only mike isnt available) Copga Misal: (sure... if you can set it up)
KetlinNarris: (k)
Arc 2:
KetlinNarris: Austin seemed basically his normal self for at least a month after that. Asa learned that he actually walked to school some days, but that he liked doing it. Math was going ok with Austin helping, and he was getting extra credit for coming to the sessions. Life was ok, and they were starting another session when Austin yawned.
Copga Misal: "Tired, Austin-sensei?" ask Asa, blinking out of a daydream. He had stayed up last night talkin to Sara on the phone about an upcoming event.
KetlinNarris: "Did you just call me sensai?" he asked, punctuating it with another yawn.
Copga Misal: "Huh? Oh, sorry, watching to much anime, heh." He blushed nervously, his laugh blocked by a long yawn.
KetlinNarris: "You sound too tired to do this. Me too. So, whats with this yawning thing? Stay up last night?"
Copga Misal: "Yeah. Me and Sara where discussing stuff." he stated, stifling the urge to yawn again.
KetlinNarris: "That long? Teenagers are far too...eh." It wasnt very often that he forgot a word, but that seemed to have just happened. "Irresponsible? Bah. You should know better."
Copga Misal: "Yeah, but she seemed eager to talk. I can't let her down, she's my best friend." he stated, slumping down on his desk.
KetlinNarris: "Uhhhhh huuuuuuh." Austin gave him a disbelieving look. "At your age that doesn't exist," he bluffed, "Not across the sexes anyway."
Copga Misal: He sat up suddenly. "What are you implying?"
KetlinNarris: "I suppose it's possible, but girls only stay on the phone that long with other girls, or their lovers. Double so for guys."
Copga Misal: "I've known her since I was in the fourth grade!" he said, blushing slightly, he tried to show annoyance, but it was betrayed by a wide, open mouthed yawn.
KetlinNarris: AUstin chuckled at him. "I'm partialy teasng. It's just that I had this girl that liked me once. Some of them just never tell you. I never had a clue."
Copga Misal: "Well... uh... Sara doesn't like me. I'm sure she would have given me a hint..." He hesitated in thought. (She has. Countless times. In class even. He's dense.)
KetlinNarris: "Nope, sorry. Not all of them do. You just gotta ask her or smething."
Copga Misal: "That would be awkward!" he announced.
KetlinNarris: "Hey I just kissed the last girl I liked."
Copga Misal: "Wha?"
KetlinNarris: "That's right. I just leaned in and kissed her. Of course, we were both drunk. I'm not setting a good example, am I?"
Copga Misal: "Eh heh... I don't drink." he blushed. "But... you just leaned in and..."
KetlinNarris: "THat's right. Kissed her. Or she kissed me. WHatever i leaned in."
Copga Misal: "Huh... do you think she likes me, from what you've seen in class...?" he said, peicing together a relationship with his best friend in his mind. When at first it sounded wrong, now it was sounding like the best idea he'd ever had.
KetlinNarris: "Erm, uh?" Austin scratched his head. "Maybe. Yeah, I guess, but ou've known her longer."
Copga Misal: "...to think of it... she's never dated anyone... a cute sophmore girl in hi-I just called her cute!"
KetlinNarris: "Maybe she's waiting to date you," Austin teased. "Don't drink though. That's a bad idea." He smiled down at his papers, folding them up. They were dne with math for the day.
Copga Misal: "Maybe... hey, I haven't dated anyone either. Well yeah, I've had the chance, but something does always make me back out of it..." he scratched his head in confusion.
KetlinNarris: "Go for it! All it can do is ruin a friendship! What the hell is life for if---" he yawned. "Hmn....I think I need coffe."
Copga Misal: "Say... she's still here... think I should just run up to her and kiss her in the hall, see what happens?" he asked, the idea of kissing her seeming to cause a natural kind of caffine reaction.
KetlinNarris: "Yes. THere's no one else in the halls at this time. I might not be the bes tperson to take advice from, though."
Copga Misal: "Better than doing nothing. You're free to watch, I'll turn her way from you. This way, you can tell me if I did right."
KetlinNarris: "No! Thats a horrible idea! That's...creepy. Im just that much older than her that it should be creepy.
KetlinNarris: "
Copga Misal: "Oh, eh heh, guess I'm delirious with... with..." he sprung for a word, but it didn't come to mind.
KetlinNarris: "Love!" Austin was outright laughing at him now.
Copga Misal: Yeah! er-...I'll be right back!" he called, running down the hall in search of Sara.
Copga Misal: (hmm...)
KetlinNarris: Austin waited.
KetlinNarris: (mh what?)\
Copga Misal: (should I just post what happens, or would you like to play Sara's part for a short time? feels a waste for him to just walk back all happy)
Copga Misal: (waste of good old fashioned sap)
KetlinNarris: (ppsss. Just skip it. I no play sarah.... jus summarize it)
KetlinNarris: *sorry, mister sap*
Copga Misal: (lmao)
Copga Misal: (tis alright. Just used to most people wanting it and being saddened if its skipped)
Copga Misal: (*thinks of a summary*)
KetlinNarris: (JUST SAY WHETHER SHE KILLS HIM OR NOT GOoDNESS i HAVE MY CAPS ON)
KetlinNarris: (whew)
Copga Misal: (GAH!*falls over in chair from force of yelling*
Copga Misal: )
Copga Misal: Moments passed, and so did Asa, with a rather satisified smile on his face as he collapsed back into his sitting position.
KetlinNarris: (in the room with austin?)
Copga Misal: (yes)
KetlinNarris: (oooh)
KetlinNarris: Austin looked up bleary eyed. "I almost feel asleep. Thanks for waking me."
Copga Misal: "welcome..." he trailed dreamily.
KetlinNarris: "I see my advice happened to be good."
Copga Misal: "Yes." he said simply. "Taking her to the dance now. To think, all the hints she had dropped for me to ask..." he said dreamily.
Copga Misal: (lol it's so easy to play a love struck highschool boy)
KetlinNarris: "Ok. Well, I guess I should head off. Im about to fall asleep just sitting here. Ugh, I dont think I can walk home tho."
Copga Misal: "Oh? Need a ride?" Asa asked, willing to do what he could for the man that had just helped, no, given him a love life.
KetlinNarris: "Eh, what? Er. Yeah. Sure. Before I forget where I live." Austin stood up and stretched.
Copga Misal: Asa smirked and stretched aswell, grabbing up his stuff, he began to lead off to his car.
Copga Misal: "By the way... why are you tired?"
KetlinNarris: "I didn't sleep," he explained simply. 'You arent too tired to drive, are you?"
Copga Misal: "Course not." he smirked with a yawn. "Why didn't you?" he asked, opening the car door for him.
KetlinNarris: Austin sat down heavily. "You sure? I'll sleep on the school steps if I have to."
Copga Misal: "I'm good. I gotta be home for Sara's call in an hour, and that's enough to keep me awake."
Copga Misal: He sat down and started the car. "Where to?"
KetlinNarris: "My house. Uh, left. Oh hell, I think I know the way."
Copga Misal: He blinked. "Uh..."
KetlinNarris: "Left out of this parkinglot. Then a right on... on...Um, what if I cant remember? I doubt 'straight through those trees' would really be of much help.
Copga Misal: "Hmmm... well, we have two options then. One, we drive aimlessly, or two, you come over to my house, take a nap, then we try again."
KetlinNarris: "Would that be ok with your parents?"
Copga Misal: "I'm sure it would be. Hey, maybe you can have dinner with us, tonight's Steak."
KetlinNarris: "If you really think..." Austin yawned again. "A nap sounds wnderful."
Copga Misal: "Great. Now, to the home!" he announced, in a rather funny voice. Within a short bout of minutes and rather soft rock music, they pulled into a drive way, and Asa pealed himself out of his seat and may a tired crawl for the door.
KetlinNarris: Austin walked slowly after him. "They wont ask too many questions, will they?"
Copga Misal: "They're not home yet." he yawned, opening the door for him. "I'll call my mom at work and tell her I'm having a friend over for dinner."
KetlinNarris: "Im so short I could pass off as being your age. Where....where do I...uhm, sleep. Yeah."
Copga Misal: "Well, there's my room, but I doubt you'd wanna sleep on my..'bed', as they call it. I prefer one of the couches to that torture contraption." he called, collapsing on one of the two couches, complete ignoring the recliner.
Copga Misal: He set his watch alarm.
KetlinNarris: AUstin collapsed into the other couch. ~later. Asa should wake up first~
~~~
Copga Misal: Asa muttered as his watch alarm buzzed. "Dang it..." he got up and stretched, idley kicking at Austin;s couch, hoping the thud would awake him.
KetlinNarris: He woke up with a slight jerk and grunted in an annoyed way.
Copga Misal: "time to get up... my parents will be here afterwhile."
KetlinNarris: AUstin nodded, looking a litle pale but ok. "Guess I fell asleep."
Copga Misal: "Probably a good thing." he yawned stretching. "You're in for a work out."
KetlinNarris: "A wha?"
Copga Misal: "Eating my mom's steak will take lots of effort. I expect your arm will be sore, seeing as how mouth watering good it is, you won't be able to stop eating... can wear a man out." he smirked.
KetlinNarris: "Ahhh," Austin smiled as he sat up. "As long as it's realy ok with her.
KetlinNarris: " he started fishing around in his pockets.
KetlinNarris: (stupid enter key)
Copga Misal: "I'm sure." he nodded, turning on the tv, checking the news for anything noteworthy.
KetlinNarris: "hmmmnnnn..." Austin grumbled and searched harder in his pockets.
Copga Misal: "What'cha lookin for?
KetlinNarris: "A tiny litle prescription bottle."
Copga Misal: "Oh."
KetlinNarris: "Ah. I left it at home. Good."
KetlinNarris: (*sniff* my fav tamara left)
Copga Misal: (yeah..*sniff*) "Hmm... you play videogames?"
KetlinNarris: He blinked at the tv screen. "Er... sorta."
Copga Misal: "Oh? What kinds?"
KetlinNarris: Austin looked up at the ceiling. What would be an ok thing to say right now? "I dont know, show me what you have."
Copga Misal: "Well, I got Kold Knight, a sword fighting game, Sentinel, a first person shooter... um..." he dug through a box.
KetlinNarris: "Sentinel ought to be fine," he said automatically. "It's been a few years since I played video games."
Copga Misal: He nodded with a smirk. "I'll take it easy on ya, then. I'm pretty l337."
KetlinNarris: (and he is a government agent trained in killing aahahahhah! which includes "video game" type programs)
KetlinNarris: Austin nodded. "Sounds good."
Copga Misal: (lol. Asa is so ownzored.) Asa started it up, and soon, it was on... Asa obtained a rocket launcher.
KetlinNarris: (eee I dont know anything about these) Austin did ok. He wasnt really trying anyway, but he did tend to hit right on the forehead and right at the heart.
Copga Misal: Asa blinked a few times. "Geeze, not very rusty..."
KetlinNarris: He wasnt so good at the walking around corners part because he wasnt used to the controls. "Am too," he said.
TwistedShadow57: "Yeah, like someone who camps out a spot and snipes."
KetlinNarris: "I guess I do that sometimes. I think I'm getting the hang of this game."
TwistedShadow57: "Argh...owned." Asa admitted, dropping the controller.
KetlinNarris: Austin set his down. "Er...guess we're done with that one then? Hey, when do your parents get home?"
TwistedShadow57: It was almost ironic, when the door opened to reveal the two. It was easy to tell they where Asa's, as he was a blend of both of their features. "Hello Asa, who's your friend?"
KetlinNarris: Austin looked to Asa. They had never cleared whether he was to be a friend or his teacher, and Austin was hoping he'd pick the former.
KetlinNarris: (er, the friend one)
TwistedShadow57: "Oh this is Austin, we have a class together." Asa said leisurely. "Oh? That's nice.. Austin, will you be staying for dinner?" asked his mom.
TwistedShadow57: (Mrs. Amada)
KetlinNarris: He looked up shyly at her. "Yeah...I mean, if that's alright Mrs Amada..."
TwistedShadow57: "Of course." she smiled, heading to the kitchen. His dad stretched and yawned, before offering him a hand. "Jaccob, Jaccob Amada."
KetlinNarris: Austin stood up and shook it. "Austin." Do they really believe Im a kid? This is great!
TwistedShadow57: "Nice meeting you, Austin." smiled the man, before heading off to his bed room. Asa winked with a grin. It was working rather perfectly.
TwistedShadow57: Huh...nah, probably for his cell phone or something. he reasoned, as he began toward his room."Come on, I'll show ya my room."
KetlinNarris: He nodded and followed after, not seeming to think anything strange had really happened.
KetlinNarris: The man smiled back and pulled his long black coat a bit tighter around himself, fastening it now that the parents were home. As he readjsted it, Asa thought he might have seen an empty gun holster. Odd.
TwistedShadow57: Huh...nah, probably for his cell phone or something. he reasoned, as he began toward his room."Come on, I'll show ya my room."
KetlinNarris: He nodded and followed after, not seeming to think anything strange had really happened.
TwistedShadow57: Asa's room was...typical. The floor was covered in clothing, the pop cans, the posters, the stereo... yep, even a computer with desk. And yeah, the enormous sword hanging ginerly over the window.
KetlinNarris: Austin grinned at him. What a cool kid, he thought idily as he closed the door behind them and pulled off his jacket. Yeah, definately an empty gun holster over his white shirt. "God! It's so hot!" he complained as he took the holster off to and shoved it under the coat, dropping them both on the floor.
TwistedShadow57: )
KetlinNarris: (cool!)
KetlinNarris: "Is that caffinated?"
TwistedShadow57: "Hmmm..." he pondered, reading the label. "Nope, some kinda fruity concauction my mom got me... tastey." he said, taking a sip of his own.
TwistedShadow57: (yeah, saw one I can order online. ^^)
KetlinNarris: "Heh, ok then. Guess Im thirsty: thankya." And he took one and sat on the kids bed. "Thanks for covering for me. You dont know how much it might mean later."
KetlinNarris: (ooo)
TwistedShadow57: "Hey, don't mention it." he smirked, then eyed about. "Wanna see something cool?"
KetlinNarris: "Depends on what it is," Austin laughed. 'Sure, I'm all in for trouble these days."
TwistedShadow57: "Alright." he smirked, digging into his closet. Various apparel came out, as well as CD cases of various artist, before he let out a happy "aha!" and drug out a lock box. Austin would identify it as a pistol lockbox. After a quick input of the combo, he brought fourth a desert eagle .357 handgun. Nice, kinda pricey too.
KetlinNarris: "Parents know you have that?"
TwistedShadow57: "Well, not really. Think I'm to young, but my friend's dad got me a good deal." he smirked. "I always like to have some kinda protection."
KetlinNarris: Austin looked away for some reason, now poker faced. "Got a holster?"
TwistedShadow57: "Course." he smirked, digging under the protective padding and removing a side holster. "Just like the ones in the sci-fi movie... ya know, with the agents."
KetlinNarris: "Hey listen. Im not going to tell your parents, because there are a lot of things you're never going to tell about me."
TwistedShadow57: "I'm glad, thanks Austin. Ya know, you're bout the only person I've showed m'eagle. Most people don't think I even have anything sides that enormous sword."
KetlinNarris: when he looked back his eyes were bright with thought, though he didnt explain what kinds. "You probably shouldnt have. But it's too late now. Hey, if I start getting weird at dinner I'll have to leave. I did leave my medication at home, you know."
TwistedShadow57: "Sure thing, I'll drive you." Asa affirmed, ash is mother called for dinner.
KetlinNarris: "Well I might just have to leave the table. I dont think Im going home anytime soon," Austin said in a strange, morbid sounding tone as he walked out the room.
TwistedShadow57: Asa blinked, and shrugged it off again. The table was full of food... plates with steaks, mashed potatoes, peas, corn on the cob... it looked divine. Before anyone started, Asa and the others bowed their head's. "Austin, would you like to say grace?" asked Mrs.Amada cheerfully.
KetlinNarris: "N-no?" he asked shyly.
TwistedShadow57: She laughed alittle. "It's okay if you're shy, I'll do it." she nodded, and said a prayer for them all, and that the food would make them healthy and strong, followed by a chorus of Amens.
KetlinNarris: Austin nodded, which was almost like saying amen, but he definately didnt say it. Instead, he dug into the food, having quite an appetite.
TwistedShadow57: The family dug into their food, the others much more polite than Asa, who reminded you of a living anime character how he devoured his food.
KetlinNarris: Austin was very polite himself, although he looked like he had learned his manners in a foreign country. It seemed to mirror his obsessively clean desk at the school. He didnt try to start any talking, and was glad that none seemed to be forthcoming. Instead, he began resolving himself to leaving. Tonight.
TwistedShadow57: When dinner was finished, Mrs. Amada was very pleased. Everyone had enjoyed the meal... as she took up plates, she offered Austin another drink.
KetlinNarris: "Oh no thankyou, I'm fine thankyou. Don't want to float away."
TwistedShadow57: She laughed and nodded, taking the plates away as Mr.Amada took to the living room and the football game. Asa stretched contently.
KetlinNarris: Austin glanced nervously at the boy. He wanted to leave NOW. "I think I need to go home, and i left stuff in your room."
TwistedShadow57: "Oh, alright. I'll start up the car, and you can get your stuff, okay?" Asa volunteered.
KetlinNarris: "well you were showing me your room still."
TwistedShadow57: "Oh, alright." Asa nodded, walking him to his room.(what ya aimin for?)
KetlinNarris: (lol ^^ my secret!)
TwistedShadow57: (lol kk)
