Arc 1:

KetlinNarris: They had a new teacher. Why? Because the class had chased off the old one in the first month. Then they'd had a subsitute for a few days, and now this geek. Some really short guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, couldn't be more than 21. Teaching math. Well, not yet, right now he was announcing his name in a hesitant voice, fiddling with a pencil and smiling nervously. "I'm you're new teacher. Austin." He cleared his throat. It took most of the class a few moments to realize he'd given his first name.

Copga Misal: Asa was to busy talking to his best friend, Sara. He stuck out, if not just alittle. His long black hair was pulled in a half ponytail, several locks framing his face, his emerald green eyes having a certain spring to them. However, both he and his friend turned when they realized he spoke. "Austin...?" asked Asa.

KetlinNarris: "Yeah, are you done talking? Because I was planning on starting class sometime."

Copga Misal: Asa arched a brow, and leaned back. Okay smart guy... "Not really, if you'll give us a sec." he smirked, as he turned and began conversion with Sara, who could barely hold in her laughter. KetlinNarris: Austin walked over to them. "Stop talking or leave. Now. I'm here to teach math, and I'll do so for anyone willing to stay. I don't care if the whole class leaves. Just gives me more free time before the next. So please, feel free to continue your conversation outside."

Copga Misal: Asa pondered his grade... and decided it was not a good time to get in trouble. "Okay, sorry Mr... uh..." he pondered, but turned to the front, aswell as Sara.

KetlinNarris: "Austin. Please call me Austin," he said as he returned to the front, smiling again. He hadn't really stopped smiling during his threat, but it seemed more real now. "The last teacher told me you guys didnt learn anything while he was here. Anything you need to review?"

Copga Misal: "Uh, yeah... how does the xy coefficient come to play?" blinked Asa.

KetlinNarris: "In what?"

KetlinNarris: (*blinks*)

Copga Misal: (brain freeze...)

Copga Misal: (I don't know what to say)

KetlinNarris: (well then say that silly! we skip the math stuff and go to end of class, unless you want to cause trouble)

Copga Misal: (yes plz ^^;;; also got distracted while I was thinking)

KetlinNarris: (naturally..... *rolls eyes*)

KetlinNarris: It turned out that Austin....really knew math. Not as good in the teaching department, but he tended to write down almost everything on the board and leave it all up besides. His handwriting was almost entirely legibile. Class ended, some of the students either entirely bored or dazed.

Copga Misal: Asa sighed. That was gibberish to him. Sara tried to help, but she couldn't, sadly. Which worried her... they'd been friends since 4th grade, and they'd always helped eachother out. Asa sighed.

KetlinNarris: Austin began to erase the board. He glanced back to see if anyone was lagging behind or wanting his attention. He knew he wasnt always the most observant person when it came to that sort of thing.

Copga Misal: Asa gave Sara an appreciative smile, and tolled her he'd just stay after and ask Austin. She smiled and nodded and left with the rest of the others. Asa raised a hand.

KetlinNarris: He was the only one in the room, so Austin came over to him, hands stuck in his pockets. "Yeaaaaaah? Can I help you with something?"

Copga Misal: "Yeah... I am lost." Asa said with an embarassed look on his face.

KetlinNarris: Austin sat in the chair across from his own, sitting backwards in it and leaning his arms on the top. "Have you had this sort of trouble before?"

Copga Misal: "Constantly. It just doesn't click." Asa explained.

KetlinNarris: "Well... gosh that bites. I suppose you'll be coming in often then? Hmn... let me think... I might be free after school. And now. This is my planning period, but don't you have another class?

KetlinNarris: he began tapping his fingers nervously on the chair.

Copga Misal: "Hmm... yeah, but I bet I could get permission to stay for help... and nothin really planned after school either." he said, his eyes shifting to the right in recall.

KetlinNarris: "Well, er..." Austin cleared his throat. "I guess after school would be best most days. I can definately try. Do you want to stay now or...or not?"

Copga Misal: "now's good, just let me get permission from my teacher." he said, hopping up and dashing out.

KetlinNarris: Austin moved to sit on his desk, trying to take a few deep breaths before the kid got back. He began shuffling folders around automatically, checking to see that things were in place. Straight piles. That sort of thing.

Copga Misal: (hmmm. Is he gay?)

KetlinNarris: (NoooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

KetlinNarris: (*faints*)

Copga Misal: (*lmao*)

KetlinNarris: (Hes a nervous person)

Copga Misal: (roflmao sorry)

Copga Misal: (I thought he was like attracted to the kid or somethin*falls over laughin again*)

Copga Misal: (again sorry)

KetlinNarris: (O.O AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH no I would be more obvious about it. I would have FUN with that)

KetlinNarris: (hes a very nervous person. Panic attacks. That sort of thing)

Copga Misal: (and he's a secret agent?)

Copga Misal: (american Bond)

Copga Misal: (lol)

Copga Misal: Asa soon returned with the teacher's okay, and plopped back into his desk.

KetlinNarris: Austin tried to hid the nervous reaction. He managed to keep it down to one twich of the hand. He cleared his throat and came back over. They talked about math for a while. He didn't even ask if the kid had persmission. Only at the close of the period did he ask, "So, what days will you be coming for help? It would be nice to have a regular schedule, so I can tell other people to go away if I need to."

Copga Misal: "Hmm... well, when can you fit me in, Mr.Austin?"

KetlinNarris: "Hey I just got here and I dont plan to start running any clubs."

Copga Misal: Asa laughed, as he thought of the best times. "Well, Howabout on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays?"

KetlinNarris: "geez, all those days?" he asked nervously, then laughed as well. "I guess, sure."

~~~
Copga Misal: (wanna know a pop culture fact about Asa?)
KetlinNarris: The day of their next help-session, that is, next tuesday, Austin seemed a little off. Uusally students dont pay attention enough to their teachers to notice that sort of thing, but whether they did or not, he was dropping the chalk and stuttering a bit. Other than that though, nothing exploded.
KetlinNarris: (sure)
KetlinNarris: (er, they decided on after school)
KetlinNarris: When Asa came after school, Austin wasnt in the room.
Copga Misal: (A common known fact is, Sara, Asa's best friend, has a crush on him, though she'd never admit it. Asa is oblivious to this, and the fact that he to loves her.)
KetlinNarris: (lol ok)
Copga Misal: Asa scratched his head. He had a couple of choices... stay and wait... hunt him down... or leave. He decided to go out and look for him. And so, he began to stride the halls.
Copga Misal: *blink*
KetlinNarris: Near the bathroom, Austin was sitting on the floor, against a wall, a stack of books stitting next to him. He had his head on his knees and didn't realy hear Asa coming.
Copga Misal: "Uh... Mr.Austin?" Asa asked, crouching next to him. "Are you okay?"
KetlinNarris: He looked up immediately, startled enough to knock over the stack of books. "Oh, geez, sorry. Sorry... Yes, I'm-- Sorry," just as he dropped one of the books. "Is it time already? Has school ended? I'm sorry."
Copga Misal: "Yes, Mr.Austin... " Asa said, slightly nervously, as he picked up the book for him, idley glancing at the title.
Copga Misal: "It's alright, really.."
KetlinNarris: It was a math book of the higher sort. "Er... yes..." AUstin cleared his throat as he stood up. THis was the time he should be making himself seem responsible and in control. "I know that must have looked odd... nevermind. Sorry I was late. I think I need to go home."
KetlinNarris: (he speaks really fast. Even in my head.)
Copga Misal: (lol)
KetlinNarris: (His "..." is like a normal pause for most people)
Copga Misal: "Oh, uh, alright..." Asa said uneasily, scratching the back of his head in thought. He was being really wierd...
Copga Misal: (btw, the reason I let you in on Sara, is encase you need a reasonable hostage or somethin later)
KetlinNarris: (LOL)
KetlinNarris: (hmmnnn)
KetlinNarris: "N-never mind... I can't. I'm stuck her another hour: guess we ought to try talking about math them," he said, stumbling over his words in a rush to get them out. He was trying to distract himself.
Copga Misal: "Um... whatever you say Mr. Austin." Asa offered a smile, trying to put it out ofh is thoughts. What was up with this guy? He seemed antsier than usual.
KetlinNarris: Austin led the back to his room. Just before they got there he dropped all of his books again, this time kicking them angrily and leaving them out in the hall to go sit on his immaculately clean desk. "So...shall we begin, then?"
Copga Misal: "Sure." Asa nodded, opening his book to the assignment.
KetlinNarris: AUstin cleared his throat and tried to teach the boy, but things were coming out faster than normal and a bit jumbled up. He started stuttering.
Copga Misal: "Mr. Austin... are you alright? You seem... highly nervous today." Asa said cautiously, trying not to be offensive.
KetlinNarris: Austin caught off what he was saying immediately, nodding. His breathing sounded labored now. "I need to go home...office...phone..." He closed his eyes. THis was not a good thing to do th thrid day at work, or any day at work for that matter. His breathing was quickly becoming shallow.
KetlinNarris: caught=cut
Copga Misal: "Mr.Austin, do you want me to call 911?" Asa asked hastily, looking rather worried now at his teacher's disposition.
KetlinNarris: (this is so evil to do to a student)
KetlinNarris: (would YOU like dealing with a paniced teacher?)
Copga Misal: (nope.)
KetlinNarris: "NO!" he gasped. "Michael. Ask the office."
Copga Misal: "The principles office?" he asked weakly, severly confused. What was this babbling, about his home and office... teacher's didn't have offices...
KetlinNarris: "YES!" Austin might have started laughing at this point if he wasnt in the middle of a panic attack.
Copga Misal: "Right! Hold on!" Asa stood and dash down the hall for the principles office, barreling through the door and inbetween breath's asked about a Michael.
KetlinNarris: The lady at the desk gave him a strange look. "What are you talking about? Is something wrong?"
Copga Misal: "Mr.Austin asked for a Michael!" he gasped, pulling himself up, using the desk as leverage.
KetlinNarris: "Mh? Austin eh?" SHe commenced to look through his file. "What's wrong? Oh, here's a michael's number." She began dialing.
Copga Misal: "He's spazzing, like one of those, uh, uh...axe attacks- No! Anxiety attacks!" he spat, trying to make the right words come out. This was not his day...
KetlinNarris: "Yes," she spoke into the phone, "I need to speak to Michael. Austin--- yes. Ok." She hung up. "He's coming right over. Where is Austin?" she stood up to follow him.
Copga Misal: "In his class room, want me to take you there?"he offered, worried about the guy. He didn't seem all that bad, for a teacher.
KetlinNarris: She nodded. When they got there Austin had slid off the desk and was sorta going back to normal, amazingly so, actually. When he saw them, he seemed to have more trouble again, but only for a moment.
KetlinNarris: The lady peered at him through her glasses. "are you ok, Mr. Striedlin?"
Copga Misal: Asa blinked. Striedlin...?
KetlinNarris: "I'm ok," he mumbled in embarrasment. "Is Mike coming?"
KetlinNarris: "Yes, Sir."
KetlinNarris: "I'll be fine."
Copga Misal: Asa pondered for a moment. What did this Mike guy...eh, it was none of his buisness, anyway...
KetlinNarris: Austin calmed down. He convinced her to leave. "Sorry Asa."
Copga Misal: "It's alright... but are you sure you're fine, Mr.S?"
KetlinNarris: "I didn't tell you to call me Austin so that you could call me....anyhting else. Just forget you even heard my last name," he warned jokingly. "Yeah... I'm not going to die or anything.:"
Copga Misal: "Whoah, thank god... bout gave me a panic attack." Asa joked, clutching his heart. His breathing had finally returned to normal.
KetlinNarris: "Psh," that's not funny, Austin poked. "Eh. You do know that WAS a panic attack, right? Otherwise you made a terrible pun without knowing it."
Copga Misal: "Uh yeah, that's what I assumed... " Asa said nervously.
KetlinNarris: "It's Mike's fault. I'll kick him when he gets here." Austin laughed, leaning back a little. Laughing helped. "Sorry I scared you. Not very teacherly of me."
Copga Misal: "Oh it's alright." he managed a forgiving smile. "What'd he do?"
KetlinNarris: "Nothing. I just want to blame it on him," Austin lied. "He won't hurt me too bad if I kick 'im."
Copga Misal: Asa laughed nervously.What the hell??
KetlinNarris: "You know," he tried to explain, "Just a buddy of mine. That includes not killing me even if i blame him for silly things."
Copga Misal: "Oh... nice guy?" Asa asked.
KetlinNarris: "Um, yeah." Austin cleared his throat. "I feel so un-teacherly, letting this happen."
Copga Misal: "It's not you fault, Mr.Austin." Asa offered. "Very unstudently of me to take so long."
KetlinNarris: "You took long? Geez, how long was I sitting there? ah well, I'll be home soon, and Michael will... I dont know. take me hom ei guss."
Copga Misal: "Uh, sure, Mr.Austin." he nodded, winding down from the ordeal.
KetlinNarris: "Damn! I need to get a license." Austin was windng down too. "Instead I have to call Michael for a ride. Arg. Oh yeah, and then I need a car. Hmnn... might be a while..."
Copga Misal: Asa laughed slightly. "Yeah, car
Copga Misal: 's are a pain to get."
KetlinNarris: "I just moved here and I've never had a licence. Can you believe that?" he smield
Copga Misal: He smiled back. "Yeah, actually. It took me begging for a consistant year to get mine."
KetlinNarris: "Yeah, but Im....eh, bet you cant guess how old I am."
Copga Misal: "Uh..twenty?"
KetlinNarris: "Close enough. I've had many years to beg and swindle. I just never tried."
Copga Misal: "I desperately needed one... I thought." Asa blushed, as he came to a thought. "Have you always been a teacher?" he asked, tilting his head.
KetlinNarris: "What, since I was born?"
Copga Misal: He laughed. "I mean since you left Highschool."
KetlinNarris: "Nope. I finished college at 17."
Copga Misal: "Wow..."
KetlinNarris: "I'm a certified genius. So don't feel bad when I try to teach math and you don't get it right away."
Copga Misal: "W-wow... um, do you mind if I ask you a question?" he asked, scratching his nervously.
Copga Misal: *head
KetlinNarris: "No I don't. Go ahead."
Copga Misal: "If you're so smart, why did you waste your talents on such a bad paying job?" he asked, trying not to offend him in anyway
KetlinNarris: Austin grinned at him. "I guess you have a lot to learn. I'm tryng it out. I think I like it, if I can remmeber....er, if I can keep a better hold on my nervous tendancies."
Copga Misal: "Oh... a job you like over a job with better pay... sounds right." nodded Asa thoughtfully.
KetlinNarris: "It's either that or... eh. Hmn, are you stuck here or what?"
Copga Misal: "Hmm? Oh, not really, just nowhere else to go, anyway."
KetlinNarris: "I thought I might be keeping you. You're free to go of course. It's not like I can concentrate on math right now."
Copga Misal: "Alright, Mr.Austin. See ya tomorrow!" he called, strolling out with his hands resting on the back of his head.
KetlinNarris: "Have a good rest of the day," Austin wished him.
Copga Misal: Asa went out to the parking lot, slid into his car window, slipped in the keys, and drove off.
KetlinNarris: (now I have to plan MORE evilness. Ah yes. I believe I was thinking he'd try to cop out of being a gov agent. But I think they need to be more confortable with eachother before Asa can be easily dragged along. Or something weird needs to happen.)
Copga Misal: (hmmm... thoughts roll through my mind)
KetlinNarris: (any of them useful? :P we can skip time to help of curse. He WILL be helping him with math 3 times a week)
Copga Misal: (hmmm... none useful. He could lend some hints that Sara has a crush on him, and that he seems to reciprocate it.)
KetlinNarris: (lol, if you want to do that. And then we could set it up so that it would be nice of him to take Austin home. something like anoter panic attack, only mike isnt available) Copga Misal: (sure... if you can set it up)
KetlinNarris: (k)
Arc 2:
KetlinNarris: Austin seemed basically his normal self for at least a month after that. Asa learned that he actually walked to school some days, but that he liked doing it. Math was going ok with Austin helping, and he was getting extra credit for coming to the sessions. Life was ok, and they were starting another session when Austin yawned.
Copga Misal: "Tired, Austin-sensei?" ask Asa, blinking out of a daydream. He had stayed up last night talkin to Sara on the phone about an upcoming event.
KetlinNarris: "Did you just call me sensai?" he asked, punctuating it with another yawn.
Copga Misal: "Huh? Oh, sorry, watching to much anime, heh." He blushed nervously, his laugh blocked by a long yawn.
KetlinNarris: "You sound too tired to do this. Me too. So, whats with this yawning thing? Stay up last night?"
Copga Misal: "Yeah. Me and Sara where discussing stuff." he stated, stifling the urge to yawn again.
KetlinNarris: "That long? Teenagers are far too...eh." It wasnt very often that he forgot a word, but that seemed to have just happened. "Irresponsible? Bah. You should know better."
Copga Misal: "Yeah, but she seemed eager to talk. I can't let her down, she's my best friend." he stated, slumping down on his desk.
KetlinNarris: "Uhhhhh huuuuuuh." Austin gave him a disbelieving look. "At your age that doesn't exist," he bluffed, "Not across the sexes anyway."
Copga Misal: He sat up suddenly. "What are you implying?"
KetlinNarris: "I suppose it's possible, but girls only stay on the phone that long with other girls, or their lovers. Double so for guys."
Copga Misal: "I've known her since I was in the fourth grade!" he said, blushing slightly, he tried to show annoyance, but it was betrayed by a wide, open mouthed yawn.
KetlinNarris: AUstin chuckled at him. "I'm partialy teasng. It's just that I had this girl that liked me once. Some of them just never tell you. I never had a clue."
Copga Misal: "Well... uh... Sara doesn't like me. I'm sure she would have given me a hint..." He hesitated in thought. (She has. Countless times. In class even. He's dense.)
KetlinNarris: "Nope, sorry. Not all of them do. You just gotta ask her or smething."
Copga Misal: "That would be awkward!" he announced.
KetlinNarris: "Hey I just kissed the last girl I liked."
Copga Misal: "Wha?"
KetlinNarris: "That's right. I just leaned in and kissed her. Of course, we were both drunk. I'm not setting a good example, am I?"
Copga Misal: "Eh heh... I don't drink." he blushed. "But... you just leaned in and..."
KetlinNarris: "THat's right. Kissed her. Or she kissed me. WHatever i leaned in."
Copga Misal: "Huh... do you think she likes me, from what you've seen in class...?" he said, peicing together a relationship with his best friend in his mind. When at first it sounded wrong, now it was sounding like the best idea he'd ever had.
KetlinNarris: "Erm, uh?" Austin scratched his head. "Maybe. Yeah, I guess, but ou've known her longer."
Copga Misal: "...to think of it... she's never dated anyone... a cute sophmore girl in hi-I just called her cute!"
KetlinNarris: "Maybe she's waiting to date you," Austin teased. "Don't drink though. That's a bad idea." He smiled down at his papers, folding them up. They were dne with math for the day.
Copga Misal: "Maybe... hey, I haven't dated anyone either. Well yeah, I've had the chance, but something does always make me back out of it..." he scratched his head in confusion.
KetlinNarris: "Go for it! All it can do is ruin a friendship! What the hell is life for if---" he yawned. "Hmn....I think I need coffe."
Copga Misal: "Say... she's still here... think I should just run up to her and kiss her in the hall, see what happens?" he asked, the idea of kissing her seeming to cause a natural kind of caffine reaction.
KetlinNarris: "Yes. THere's no one else in the halls at this time. I might not be the bes tperson to take advice from, though."
Copga Misal: "Better than doing nothing. You're free to watch, I'll turn her way from you. This way, you can tell me if I did right."
KetlinNarris: "No! Thats a horrible idea! That's...creepy. Im just that much older than her that it should be creepy.
KetlinNarris: "
Copga Misal: "Oh, eh heh, guess I'm delirious with... with..." he sprung for a word, but it didn't come to mind.
KetlinNarris: "Love!" Austin was outright laughing at him now.
Copga Misal: Yeah! er-...I'll be right back!" he called, running down the hall in search of Sara.
Copga Misal: (hmm...)
KetlinNarris: Austin waited.
KetlinNarris: (mh what?)\
Copga Misal: (should I just post what happens, or would you like to play Sara's part for a short time? feels a waste for him to just walk back all happy)
Copga Misal: (waste of good old fashioned sap)
KetlinNarris: (ppsss. Just skip it. I no play sarah.... jus summarize it)
KetlinNarris: *sorry, mister sap*
Copga Misal: (lmao)
Copga Misal: (tis alright. Just used to most people wanting it and being saddened if its skipped)
Copga Misal: (*thinks of a summary*) KetlinNarris: (JUST SAY WHETHER SHE KILLS HIM OR NOT GOoDNESS i HAVE MY CAPS ON)
KetlinNarris: (whew)
Copga Misal: (GAH!*falls over in chair from force of yelling*
Copga Misal: )
Copga Misal: Moments passed, and so did Asa, with a rather satisified smile on his face as he collapsed back into his sitting position.
KetlinNarris: (in the room with austin?)
Copga Misal: (yes)
KetlinNarris: (oooh)
KetlinNarris: Austin looked up bleary eyed. "I almost feel asleep. Thanks for waking me."
Copga Misal: "welcome..." he trailed dreamily.
KetlinNarris: "I see my advice happened to be good."
Copga Misal: "Yes." he said simply. "Taking her to the dance now. To think, all the hints she had dropped for me to ask..." he said dreamily.
Copga Misal: (lol it's so easy to play a love struck highschool boy)
KetlinNarris: "Ok. Well, I guess I should head off. Im about to fall asleep just sitting here. Ugh, I dont think I can walk home tho."
Copga Misal: "Oh? Need a ride?" Asa asked, willing to do what he could for the man that had just helped, no, given him a love life.
KetlinNarris: "Eh, what? Er. Yeah. Sure. Before I forget where I live." Austin stood up and stretched.
Copga Misal: Asa smirked and stretched aswell, grabbing up his stuff, he began to lead off to his car.
Copga Misal: "By the way... why are you tired?"
KetlinNarris: "I didn't sleep," he explained simply. 'You arent too tired to drive, are you?"
Copga Misal: "Course not." he smirked with a yawn. "Why didn't you?" he asked, opening the car door for him.
KetlinNarris: Austin sat down heavily. "You sure? I'll sleep on the school steps if I have to."
Copga Misal: "I'm good. I gotta be home for Sara's call in an hour, and that's enough to keep me awake."
Copga Misal: He sat down and started the car. "Where to?"
KetlinNarris: "My house. Uh, left. Oh hell, I think I know the way."
Copga Misal: He blinked. "Uh..."
KetlinNarris: "Left out of this parkinglot. Then a right on... on...Um, what if I cant remember? I doubt 'straight through those trees' would really be of much help.
Copga Misal: "Hmmm... well, we have two options then. One, we drive aimlessly, or two, you come over to my house, take a nap, then we try again."
KetlinNarris: "Would that be ok with your parents?"
Copga Misal: "I'm sure it would be. Hey, maybe you can have dinner with us, tonight's Steak."
KetlinNarris: "If you really think..." Austin yawned again. "A nap sounds wnderful."
Copga Misal: "Great. Now, to the home!" he announced, in a rather funny voice. Within a short bout of minutes and rather soft rock music, they pulled into a drive way, and Asa pealed himself out of his seat and may a tired crawl for the door.
KetlinNarris: Austin walked slowly after him. "They wont ask too many questions, will they?"
Copga Misal: "They're not home yet." he yawned, opening the door for him. "I'll call my mom at work and tell her I'm having a friend over for dinner."
KetlinNarris: "Im so short I could pass off as being your age. Where....where do I...uhm, sleep. Yeah."
Copga Misal: "Well, there's my room, but I doubt you'd wanna sleep on my..'bed', as they call it. I prefer one of the couches to that torture contraption." he called, collapsing on one of the two couches, complete ignoring the recliner.
Copga Misal: He set his watch alarm.
KetlinNarris: AUstin collapsed into the other couch. ~later. Asa should wake up first~
~~~

Copga Misal: Asa muttered as his watch alarm buzzed. "Dang it..." he got up and stretched, idley kicking at Austin;s couch, hoping the thud would awake him.

KetlinNarris: He woke up with a slight jerk and grunted in an annoyed way.

Copga Misal: "time to get up... my parents will be here afterwhile." KetlinNarris: AUstin nodded, looking a litle pale but ok. "Guess I fell asleep."

Copga Misal: "Probably a good thing." he yawned stretching. "You're in for a work out."

KetlinNarris: "A wha?"

Copga Misal: "Eating my mom's steak will take lots of effort. I expect your arm will be sore, seeing as how mouth watering good it is, you won't be able to stop eating... can wear a man out." he smirked.

KetlinNarris: "Ahhh," Austin smiled as he sat up. "As long as it's realy ok with her.

KetlinNarris: " he started fishing around in his pockets.

KetlinNarris: (stupid enter key)

Copga Misal: "I'm sure." he nodded, turning on the tv, checking the news for anything noteworthy.

KetlinNarris: "hmmmnnnn..." Austin grumbled and searched harder in his pockets.

Copga Misal: "What'cha lookin for?

KetlinNarris: "A tiny litle prescription bottle."

Copga Misal: "Oh."

KetlinNarris: "Ah. I left it at home. Good."

KetlinNarris: (*sniff* my fav tamara left)

Copga Misal: (yeah..*sniff*) "Hmm... you play videogames?"

KetlinNarris: He blinked at the tv screen. "Er... sorta."

Copga Misal: "Oh? What kinds?"

KetlinNarris: Austin looked up at the ceiling. What would be an ok thing to say right now? "I dont know, show me what you have."

Copga Misal: "Well, I got Kold Knight, a sword fighting game, Sentinel, a first person shooter... um..." he dug through a box.

KetlinNarris: "Sentinel ought to be fine," he said automatically. "It's been a few years since I played video games."

Copga Misal: He nodded with a smirk. "I'll take it easy on ya, then. I'm pretty l337."

KetlinNarris: (and he is a government agent trained in killing aahahahhah! which includes "video game" type programs)

KetlinNarris: Austin nodded. "Sounds good."

Copga Misal: (lol. Asa is so ownzored.) Asa started it up, and soon, it was on... Asa obtained a rocket launcher.

KetlinNarris: (eee I dont know anything about these) Austin did ok. He wasnt really trying anyway, but he did tend to hit right on the forehead and right at the heart.

Copga Misal: Asa blinked a few times. "Geeze, not very rusty..."

KetlinNarris: He wasnt so good at the walking around corners part because he wasnt used to the controls. "Am too," he said.

KetlinNarris: "Where me camper?" he asked, sounding lost as he shot again.

TwistedShadow57: "Yeah, like someone who camps out a spot and snipes."

KetlinNarris: "I guess I do that sometimes. I think I'm getting the hang of this game."

TwistedShadow57: "Argh...owned." Asa admitted, dropping the controller.

KetlinNarris: Austin set his down. "Er...guess we're done with that one then? Hey, when do your parents get home?"

TwistedShadow57: It was almost ironic, when the door opened to reveal the two. It was easy to tell they where Asa's, as he was a blend of both of their features. "Hello Asa, who's your friend?"

KetlinNarris: Austin looked to Asa. They had never cleared whether he was to be a friend or his teacher, and Austin was hoping he'd pick the former.

KetlinNarris: (er, the friend one)

TwistedShadow57: "Oh this is Austin, we have a class together." Asa said leisurely. "Oh? That's nice.. Austin, will you be staying for dinner?" asked his mom.

TwistedShadow57: (Mrs. Amada)

KetlinNarris: He looked up shyly at her. "Yeah...I mean, if that's alright Mrs Amada..."

TwistedShadow57: "Of course." she smiled, heading to the kitchen. His dad stretched and yawned, before offering him a hand. "Jaccob, Jaccob Amada."

KetlinNarris: Austin stood up and shook it. "Austin." Do they really believe Im a kid? This is great!

TwistedShadow57: "Nice meeting you, Austin." smiled the man, before heading off to his bed room. Asa winked with a grin. It was working rather perfectly.

TwistedShadow57: Huh...nah, probably for his cell phone or something. he reasoned, as he began toward his room."Come on, I'll show ya my room."

KetlinNarris: He nodded and followed after, not seeming to think anything strange had really happened.

KetlinNarris: The man smiled back and pulled his long black coat a bit tighter around himself, fastening it now that the parents were home. As he readjsted it, Asa thought he might have seen an empty gun holster. Odd.

TwistedShadow57: Huh...nah, probably for his cell phone or something. he reasoned, as he began toward his room."Come on, I'll show ya my room."

KetlinNarris: He nodded and followed after, not seeming to think anything strange had really happened.

TwistedShadow57: Asa's room was...typical. The floor was covered in clothing, the pop cans, the posters, the stereo... yep, even a computer with desk. And yeah, the enormous sword hanging ginerly over the window.

KetlinNarris: Austin grinned at him. What a cool kid, he thought idily as he closed the door behind them and pulled off his jacket. Yeah, definately an empty gun holster over his white shirt. "God! It's so hot!" he complained as he took the holster off to and shoved it under the coat, dropping them both on the floor.

TwistedShadow57: )

KetlinNarris: (cool!)

KetlinNarris: "Is that caffinated?"

TwistedShadow57: "Hmmm..." he pondered, reading the label. "Nope, some kinda fruity concauction my mom got me... tastey." he said, taking a sip of his own.

TwistedShadow57: (yeah, saw one I can order online. ^^)

KetlinNarris: "Heh, ok then. Guess Im thirsty: thankya." And he took one and sat on the kids bed. "Thanks for covering for me. You dont know how much it might mean later."

KetlinNarris: (ooo)

TwistedShadow57: "Hey, don't mention it." he smirked, then eyed about. "Wanna see something cool?"

KetlinNarris: "Depends on what it is," Austin laughed. 'Sure, I'm all in for trouble these days."

TwistedShadow57: "Alright." he smirked, digging into his closet. Various apparel came out, as well as CD cases of various artist, before he let out a happy "aha!" and drug out a lock box. Austin would identify it as a pistol lockbox. After a quick input of the combo, he brought fourth a desert eagle .357 handgun. Nice, kinda pricey too.

KetlinNarris: "Parents know you have that?"

TwistedShadow57: "Well, not really. Think I'm to young, but my friend's dad got me a good deal." he smirked. "I always like to have some kinda protection."

KetlinNarris: Austin looked away for some reason, now poker faced. "Got a holster?"

TwistedShadow57: "Course." he smirked, digging under the protective padding and removing a side holster. "Just like the ones in the sci-fi movie... ya know, with the agents."

KetlinNarris: "Hey listen. Im not going to tell your parents, because there are a lot of things you're never going to tell about me."

TwistedShadow57: "I'm glad, thanks Austin. Ya know, you're bout the only person I've showed m'eagle. Most people don't think I even have anything sides that enormous sword."

KetlinNarris: when he looked back his eyes were bright with thought, though he didnt explain what kinds. "You probably shouldnt have. But it's too late now. Hey, if I start getting weird at dinner I'll have to leave. I did leave my medication at home, you know."

TwistedShadow57: "Sure thing, I'll drive you." Asa affirmed, ash is mother called for dinner.

KetlinNarris: "Well I might just have to leave the table. I dont think Im going home anytime soon," Austin said in a strange, morbid sounding tone as he walked out the room.

TwistedShadow57: Asa blinked, and shrugged it off again. The table was full of food... plates with steaks, mashed potatoes, peas, corn on the cob... it looked divine. Before anyone started, Asa and the others bowed their head's. "Austin, would you like to say grace?" asked Mrs.Amada cheerfully.

KetlinNarris: "N-no?" he asked shyly.

TwistedShadow57: She laughed alittle. "It's okay if you're shy, I'll do it." she nodded, and said a prayer for them all, and that the food would make them healthy and strong, followed by a chorus of Amens.

KetlinNarris: Austin nodded, which was almost like saying amen, but he definately didnt say it. Instead, he dug into the food, having quite an appetite.

TwistedShadow57: The family dug into their food, the others much more polite than Asa, who reminded you of a living anime character how he devoured his food.

KetlinNarris: Austin was very polite himself, although he looked like he had learned his manners in a foreign country. It seemed to mirror his obsessively clean desk at the school. He didnt try to start any talking, and was glad that none seemed to be forthcoming. Instead, he began resolving himself to leaving. Tonight.

TwistedShadow57: When dinner was finished, Mrs. Amada was very pleased. Everyone had enjoyed the meal... as she took up plates, she offered Austin another drink.

KetlinNarris: "Oh no thankyou, I'm fine thankyou. Don't want to float away."

TwistedShadow57: She laughed and nodded, taking the plates away as Mr.Amada took to the living room and the football game. Asa stretched contently.

KetlinNarris: Austin glanced nervously at the boy. He wanted to leave NOW. "I think I need to go home, and i left stuff in your room."

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, alright. I'll start up the car, and you can get your stuff, okay?" Asa volunteered.

KetlinNarris: "well you were showing me your room still."

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, alright." Asa nodded, walking him to his room.(what ya aimin for?)

KetlinNarris: (lol ^^ my secret!)

TwistedShadow57: (lol kk)

Arc 3:

KetlinNarris: Austin closed the door behind them with a tense sigh, looking nervously about the room. Ah! There was his jacket. ANd when he picked it up, that was definately a gun holster. He took a while putting it on. "I need to ask you a favor."

TwistedShadow57: Asa blinked at the site ofhis math teacher with a gun holder... what the. he then realized what he asked. "What's that?"

KetlinNarris: "I need you to drop me off at that school instead of home. It would be great if you could take me somewhere else after that, but...eh. Ill walk. But take that thing with you," Austin pointed at the gun.

TwistedShadow57: Asa blinked. What the hell... he thought, as he took it and adjusted it to his side. He looked at the clips... "Sure...uh..."

TwistedShadow57: (now this is a position I'd hate to put my teacher in)

TwistedShadow57: (*student)

KetlinNarris: (you mean student?)

KetlinNarris: (lol)

TwistedShadow57: (lol)

KetlinNarris: "Dont worry about it. I dont have to burden you with the details. Just drop me off at the school please." He put on his coat over the empty holster.

TwistedShadow57: "alright." Asa nodded, deciding it best to load it. He did it like a pro, as if he'd practiced loading several times. Hey, when you're bored... "let's go." Asa nodded, leading the way out again.

KetlinNarris: "Dont yoooou need a coat?" AUstin pointed out

TwistedShadow57: His eyes widened, and then blushed. "Duh.. eh heh." he went into his closet, and selected a leather jacket and sun glasses. To this day, he would not know why... must have made him feel dangerous.

TwistedShadow57: and then swiftly ditched the shades... it's night time, he remembered,

TwistedShadow57: (that's all ^^)

KetlinNarris: "Heh. Its cold outside anyway. Ok!" Austin practically ran to the car. now now now was his mantra.

KetlinNarris: (:P

KetlinNarris: )

TwistedShadow57: Asa leaped, and barely completed a hood slide, almost falling when he came off. The car started, and soon, they where off. Asa had many questions... he decided to try one. "...so...why does a teacher pack heat?"

KetlinNarris: "Did you just say pack heat? That sounds so ridiculous. You should really just say what you mean." Ausitn blinked and looked out the window. He hadnt realy meant to say all that, he was just starting to get a bit tense. "I could lie and say Im paranoid, which is half true. I am paranoid."

TwistedShadow57: "Are you paranoid in the way you think people are out to get you, or in the way that you know." asked Asa, alittle bit of worry in his voice, as he looked around for anything suspicious in the mirrors.

KetlinNarris: "I get paranoid when I go off all my meds at once," he explained, even though that didnt explain anything. "One's an antidepressant and the other's an antiety. Well, I was only taking the anxiety one to begin with anyway."

TwistedShadow57: Asa looked at him for a moment with confusion, before turning back to the road."...where is your gun, anyway? You always walk around with an empty holster?"

KetlinNarris: "It's at the shool," he explained in a clipped tone. "Can we get there any faster?"

TwistedShadow57: "Yes." he nodded, placing his foot down farther, as the car engine began to show that it noticed. They would be in there soon..

TwistedShadow57: "Should I be worried?"

KetlinNarris: Austin hung on. "Naw. Just about me. I wont be in trouble until they find out Im gone..."

TwistedShadow57: "Who?"

KetlinNarris: "Mike. You cant tell Mike any of this. Now, I want you to just drop me off and drive away. I know I just said to worry about me, but dont."

KetlinNarris: (mica wnats him to follow Austin in)

TwistedShadow57: "No, I can't just do that! Look, I'm going in with you... you don't even have a gun."

KetlinNarris: "I'll be fine. THere's no one waiting in there for me, and if you come in I'll have to take you with me-- I mean, out of the state. Whever I go. You really cant know anymore..."

TwistedShadow57: "Dude, serious, I'm not just gonna drop you off so I can learn on the new-... maybe never hear anything bout you again. You helped me, now I gotta help you."

KetlinNarris: "Im creating my own trouble. IT's really not necessary."

TwistedShadow57: "I'm going in, like it or not." he stated firmly. Rather stubborn, few loose it with age. He'd have to learn it...

KetlinNarris: Austin narrowed his eyes. "I dont think you realize Im a bit more than a teacher. I dont think you realize what sort of trouble you'll be volunteering yourself for....make sure you've got that gun."
And with that, he hoped out of the car and rushed in, not waiting for or stoping Asa.

TwistedShadow57: Asa growled, hopping out and dashing after.

KetlinNarris: He reached the room just after his blonde haired teacher reached his desk. With quick, deft movements he pulled out the drawer and the gun underneath it in the same motioned, checked the saftey, slapped it in the holster while with his other hand he took out a medicine bottle from the now open drawer and setting it on the desk. "You really coming?" he asked as he shook a few folded pages out of a book in there next to the bottle.

TwistedShadow57: Asa fingered his holster. "Course I am, couldn't leave a pal to face certain death alone." he said, mustering a smile somehow.

KetlinNarris: "Im not a pal. Im a risk." He tossed Asa a small, flat black case that didnt rattle when he caught it. "Those are for emergencies." he brought out another bottle, looked at them both, then put one in his pocket and one back in the drawer. Then he took out a small flask-- obviously of alcohol-- drank some of it quickly and put that in the drawer too. "That ought to do it."

TwistedShadow57: "What's this...?" asa asked, shaking the case.

KetlinNarris: It didn't rattle. "For emergencis. I drive this time," Austin announced, rushing past him out the door. (he can either ask him again in the car or open the thing.)

TwistedShadow57: He followed after, hopping in the passenger seat, fastening his seat belt. "What is this..?"

KetlinNarris: "Open it," Austin said in a bit of annoyance. He was just rushing so fast, not really anything personal. He started the car ans screeched out of the parking lot.

KetlinNarris: "its in case i have one of those attacks."

TwistedShadow57: He opened it and took a look inside.

KetlinNarris: It contained needles and as many flattish bottles to fill them with. Each needle was marked with a sharpy to indicate the correct level. "Do you know how to fill one of those?"

TwistedShadow57: "I've seen it done before..." he said nervously.

KetlinNarris: "Yes or no?" the man snapped as they sped along the road. at least Austin seemed to be able to drive.

TwistedShadow57: "yes." Asa said firmly, putting it up and into his coat.

KetlinNarris: "Ok. Hopfully it wont be nbecessary. At least Im trained for this," Austin said with a dangerous grin. "by the way, we're going to a bar," he said as they pulled into te parking lot.

TwistedShadow57: "I'm not 21..." Asa blinked.

TwistedShadow57: (brb)

KetlinNarris: "Oh, we're not going in. we're leaving your car here. It wont be wrecked or impounded, and we wont be as easily traced. You're offically being kidnapped, btw."

KetlinNarris: k

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, how nice..." Asa blinked as he pulled into the parking lot, choosing the most available spot.

KetlinNarris: (austin is driving)

KetlinNarris: (he=Austin)

TwistedShadow57: (oh, minus the pulling in part then)

KetlinNarris: (lol)

KetlinNarris: They pulled into a spot away from any of the bar's windows. It was pitch black by now, so when Austin turned the car off and got out, there was only the dim light coming from the bar. In other words, since they were in the shadow, nothing. From right beside the building Asa heard Austin whisper, "Com'ere..."

TwistedShadow57: He followed as quietly as he could towards his voice

TwistedShadow57: *just finished the cover for a story he's going to write*

KetlinNarris: (coool)

TwistedShadow57: (Wanna see? I hate my style, but eh...)

KetlinNarris: Austin put a hand on his shoulder. "Dont move until I tell you too. Any questions while we're waiting?"

TwistedShadow57: "Um... none at the moment." he shrugged.

KetlinNarris: "Not very inquisitive then, are you?"

TwistedShadow57: "I am, but the fear kinda chokes that out at the moment." He said nervously, blushing in the darkness.

TwistedShadow57: (do yas?)

KetlinNarris: He patted him on the shoulder. "I understand that. Dont be so nervous: Im trained in infiltration, espionage, and killing. We're relatively safe."

TwistedShadow57: "Oh... how... calming." he laughed nervously.

KetlinNarris: "sh, I think I hear someone."
The door to the bar opened, letting a lady step undsteadily unto the side walk. Once the door had closed and the woman had stumbled a few steps, Austin walked up behind her, jingling Asa's keys in one hand. "Maam, I think you dropped your keys."
"Oh?" she turned to peer at him, and Asa had the feeling that Austin was very close to her.
"Yeah. Here ya go.

KetlinNarris: "

KetlinNarris: The sound of keys jingling again. "Maam, are you sure you can drive? I think you ought to hand the bartender your keys," Austin said, leading her back inside.

TwistedShadow57: Asa scratched the back of his head as he waited. "Sly..." he thought. He'd remember that trick, incase he was ever in a bind.

KetlinNarris: He could hear the excitement in Austin's voice when he came out of the bar and up to him, "Ok. Her car is that little black sports thing over there. lets go!"

TwistedShadow57: "Score!" Asa said, grinning. the excitement getting to him.(oh lol)

KetlinNarris: Austin slipped into the drivers seat and started the thing. They drove out at a normal speed, headlights on. No one seemed to notice as they headed for the Highway and Austin began to speed up. He laughed happily.

TwistedShadow57: "That was a slick move Austin!" he smiled, turning on the radio. No matter what universe, at what time, or what world you're on, durring a high octane happy time, full of adreniline, after getting away with something in a car, and one decides to turn on the radio, one song will always be playing... always. Magic Carpet Ride, Steppen Wolf. Yep, there it was...

KetlinNarris: They got on the highway, and Austin put ALL his energy into the gas petal, meaning they reached around a hundred pretty fast.

TwistedShadow57: "WHOAH!" laughed Asa, buckling his seat belt. Austin was awesome, lot better than your average math teacher/secret agent.

KetlinNarris: (lol) "You really shouldn't encourage me," he commented as the care reached 105.

TwistedShadow57: "Where are we headed, Austin?" he asked, trying to settle down, but with the combination of good music and a fast car...

KetlinNarris: the car began to slow down. "The train station. Does this car have a cell phone?"

TwistedShadow57: Asa fideled around for it. "Yeah, here it is."

KetlinNarris: "Good. Call 558-7231 and ask for tickets to Austin, texas."

TwistedShadow57: "Sure." he did so. "Hello, I'd like two tickets for Austin, Texas."

KetlinNarris: Austin handed him a card just as the lady asked for a credit number. There was a big black number on the card, and when he read that out, the lady said ok and hung up.

TwistedShadow57: He hung it up. "So we're going to Texas?"

KetlinNarris: "Don't be a fool. Do you still have that case I gave ya?"

TwistedShadow57: "Yeah." he brandished it.

KetlinNarris: "K. Just making sure. We're going wherever I decide when we get there, but it aint gonna be Texas. Those tickets are a distraction for anyone following us. It's going to be a few hours before we get to the station, so you might as well sleep.

KetlinNarris: "

TwistedShadow57: "I'll try." he smirked, yawning. "So... why quit?"

KetlinNarris: The man's eyes narrowed. "I dont want to talk about it," he growled. "But do tell me if I act funny."

TwistedShadow57: "Hey, easy... you don't have to tell me." Asa shrugged.

KetlinNarris: "heh. Im well aware of that."

TwistedShadow57: He laughed alittle, his eyes growing alittle heavy. "so... where are you really from?"

KetlinNarris: "Egypt."

TwistedShadow57: "Really? Wow...was it fun there?

TwistedShadow57: "

KetlinNarris: "I guess. It was different than here." he shrugged, "Ive been a lot of places."

TwistedShadow57: "I bet..." Asa yawned, his eyes fully closing, as he lost consciousness.

KetlinNarris: Asa woke to Austin shaking gently a few hours later. They were still in the car, but this time parked at the train station.

TwistedShadow57: "Ugh... yeah?"

KetlinNarris: "Get up. We're there. Com'on, I want to get a ticket now and be on that train. Oh, first, here." Austin handed him a lot of cash. "I stopped to withdraw some money, in case they figure how to track my card. Got it?"

TwistedShadow57: He blinked, pocketing the money. "Sure thing. I'm Ready... but what about our guns and security?"

KetlinNarris: "We turn them in for the luggage compartment like normal people. Unload your gun and take off the holster." He held out a small suitcase. Since the guns were about all they had, there was room enough. A bit of cash was in there. They didnt want to look too suspicious having all their cash in one place.

TwistedShadow57: He nodded, doing so and inserting it into the brief case.

KetlinNarris: Austin closed it, coughing/clearing his throat at the same time. Asa realized it was light outside as his teacher left the keys in the ignition and led them to the ticket booth. He scanned the tickets available from a few feet off, looking for the one that left next.

TwistedShadow57: Asa looked around abit, thow inconspicuously. He'd been here once, when he was younger... now it seemed different. Bigger, atleast...

KetlinNarris: Finally, he stepped up to the counter. "I'd like to 87 tickets, please." He payed for them and returned to Asa. "Alright! The train leaves in ten minutes. Move!"

TwistedShadow57: He followed after. "87??"

KetlinNarris: "It was the one leaving soonest. I think it goes to.... oh yeah, DC."

TwistedShadow57: "DC? Isn't that a bad place to hide from the government?" he whispered lowly.

KetlinNarris: "Sorry, I meant the other washington. WHatever. WE'll find out when we get there," he said, starting to run to the train. They got on with no trouble.

TwistedShadow57: "What room are we in, or is this one of those cheap trains?" he whispered.

KetlinNarris: "we got the last tickets available. way back in that last car, where we can sleep. Sleeper cars, I think they're called. God...and I need it."

TwistedShadow57: He nodded and went back to them, grabbing a pie on the way, he paid with a ten. He grabbeda couple of forks aswell. He was hungry.

KetlinNarris: Their room was one with four beds, but only Austin and he were in it. Austin sighed deeply when he lay down in one of the bottom ones. "I think my eyes tried to jump out of my head back there."

TwistedShadow57: He laughed slightly, leaning back in his bunk as he ate on the pie. Yum. Chocolate. "Want a peice of pie?"

KetlinNarris: "Yuck."

TwistedShadow57: "Too each his own." he dug in.

KetlinNarris: Austin threw a train pillow at him. "Im not hungry besides. Im too nervous. Damn! I dont think I can sleep!"

TwistedShadow57: "Hey!" he threw it back, followed by another. "looking for a war." he grinned.

KetlinNarris: Austin wiggled out his coat, grumbling. He really did look tired as he pulled out that bottle he'd barely decided to take. He sighed deeply, this time in annoyance.

TwistedShadow57: "I'm checking the tube." he stretched, turning on the TV, skimming through channels.

KetlinNarris: (there are tvs in sleeper cars?) "Im gonna take something that'll knock me out. I think." He looked suspiciously at the car's door.

TwistedShadow57: (depends on the quality)

KetlinNarris: (ah)

KetlinNarris: (I declare you the expert on sleeper cars. never been in one.)

TwistedShadow57: (me either, lol. But I've seen quite a few movies with them in them)

KetlinNarris: (XP)

TwistedShadow57: He sighed at finding nothing of interest. "When do you want me to wake you?"

KetlinNarris: "You wont be able to. We're on the train forever."

KetlinNarris: *forever, though."

TwistedShadow57: He blinked.

TwistedShadow57: "Forever?"

KetlinNarris: "A long, long time. I'll wake up whenever I wake up... IF I take 'em."

TwistedShadow57: "Sure..." Asa scratched the back of his head.

KetlinNarris: "...Should I?" he asked, sounding like a little kid. He was paranoid that if he did something would happen while he was asleep, but he knew he needed sleep.

TwistedShadow57: "Sure thing." he nodded, loading his desert eagle, he placed it under a pillow by his side. "I've got your back."

KetlinNarris: (that would be in the suitcase, which I supposed would be in some sort of storage. RIght?)

TwistedShadow57: (well, on trains they let you take your baggage into the car. It's like a miniature hotel room, the good ones. Some even have bathrooms with showers)

KetlinNarris: (ooookay) Austin "hmmmned" in a dissatisfied manner, placimng his own gun under a pillow and his head on that. "Still... I dont like taking them..."

TwistedShadow57: "Hmmm... well, it's your call bud." he stretched his arms.

KetlinNarris: "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I'll make the wrong choice!"

TwistedShadow57: "Take the damn pills! Sheesh!" Asa outburst, his brow twitching slightly.(LMAO)

KetlinNarris: Austin giggled dangerously. "You suuuure?"

TwistedShadow57: He had to stifle an arm with the other, so he wouldn't grab the gun. "Yes I'm sure!"

KetlinNarris: AUstin laughed at him and pounced off the bed to the floor. "No! I think Im getting pie!" His nxt laugh was more disturbing, as if he had trouble stopping it.

TwistedShadow57: "You okay Aust?"

TwistedShadow57: "You okay Aust?"

KetlinNarris: "I'm going to get a drink!" he announced light heartedly, and left the car.

TwistedShadow57: He blinked. Might wanna follow him... he followed after him.

KetlinNarris: Austin was humming when he paid for a soda, then returned to the car with a nod to Asa. "Hi there, kid."

TwistedShadow57: "That's diet, right?" he asked, arching a brow.

KetlinNarris: "No," he said, sipping it and sitting back on the bed. "why?"

TwistedShadow57: "Isn't that unhealthy?"

KetlinNarris: "Meybe," he agreed, swinging his feet back and forth. "why, ya worried?"

TwistedShadow57: "Should I be? You seem alittle... I dunno... wired."

KetlinNarris: "Asa! I'm free! They cant get me now. I'll never let them. I finally decided to leave, and Mike couldnt stop me or tell me to change my mind. Ill kill them if htey get close."

TwistedShadow57: "Isn't Mike your friend?"

KetlinNarris: "No!"

TwistedShadow57: "I just assumed..." he coughed, his hand having slipped under the pillow alittle. Austin was making him nervous.

KetlinNarris: Austin snatched Asa's hand out of the air and yanked the boy towards him, which hurt his arm near the socket. "Mike trained me. He is on the wrng side. I HATE him. Do you understand? And you were just about to break my trust."

TwistedShadow57: "You are freaking me out man!" he snapped back.

KetlinNarris: Austin snorted self consciously, still holding his hand. It didnt hurt where he was holding it, but it hurt from the intial pull. "Try reasoning with me. Wouldnt want me to go psycho on ya would ya? Look, what do you want me to do about it?"

TwistedShadow57: "Get some sleep, I think it

TwistedShadow57: 's getting to ya, man."

KetlinNarris: Austin let go of his hand. "Easy for you to say. Look, I'll take half a pill if you can manage someway to cut them in half."

TwistedShadow57: "Sure." he muttered a few cuss words before retrieving a quarter. "Hand me one."

KetlinNarris: He tossed him the bottle. Now Asa had all of his medication. Austin busied himself with humming and unloading his gun, placing the bullets in his pockets.

TwistedShadow57: Asa chopped a pill in half with the quarter and handed him half of a pill. "problem solved."

KetlinNarris: "WOw you did that with a quarter?" the secret agent said with true awe.

TwistedShadow57: "Yeah, if anime's taught me anything, it's that metal at high velocity can cut about anything, especially things weaker, even if it's dull."

KetlinNarris: Austin gave him a strange look, appreciating the weirdness of his comment, then took the half-pill with the rest of his soda. He layed back with a sigh and turned away from Asa, purposefully covering the gun under his pillow. He was out in moments.

TwistedShadow57: Asa sighed and scratched his head. That guy was a live wire. He stretched back against the wall, stretching his legs and arms. It would be a long ride...

KetlinNarris: By the time they reached an exchanged, Austin was still asleep. Which was not good, since they had to switch trains.

TwistedShadow57: Asa took a glass of water, splashing it on Austin's face. "THE TRAIN'S ON FIRE, RUN!" he yelled. If those two put together didn't wake him, nothing would

KetlinNarris: Austin shot out of his bed. "Why you little," he growled, retrieving his gun from under his pillow with a glare.

TwistedShadow57: "I didn't know how out of it you where." Asa laughed, placing his back in his brief case. He was ready to go

KetlinNarris: Austin threw his into the briefcase from a distance. "Very. I kinda feel groggy. How long did I....we're at the exchange? That's some sleeing there.Damn straight.

KetlinNarris: "

TwistedShadow57: Asa laughed. "Which train are we on now?"

KetlinNarris: "Whatever the ticket says," AUstin replied with a yawn. "Im sure it will be easy to find...if we hurry." And with that he started walking off the train, hands in his pockets and looking happy.

TwistedShadow57: Asa followed, checking the tickets as they went.

KetlinNarris: "that train looks pretty. Lets go to that one."

TwistedShadow57: "Is it the right one?" asked Asa unsurely

KetlinNarris: "I don't know, you're the one who checked the ticket didnt you? Eh. 380. To WAshington. That sounds right." he started walking toawrds it (its the right one, he has a good memory no matter what he says)

TwistedShadow57: "Uh, yeah, that's right..." Asa blinked, following suit

KetlinNarris: THey got a similar car, again empty except for them. That was...odd.

TwistedShadow57: Asa yawned and stretched, dropping in the similar bed. "How many more?"

KetlinNarris: "How many more what?"

TwistedShadow57: "Trains"

KetlinNarris: "Since railroads were nationalized in 1996, most of the tracks have been either destroyed and used as scrap metal or connected. This is one of the few exchanges, where you still have to switch trains. There arent anymore," he explained thouroughly, sitting on a top bed and swinging his feet.

TwistedShadow57: "Oh... well, how much longer then?"

KetlinNarris: "I think its just a few more hours. Like, 3 or something. We're very close!" And that meant very far away from where they had been. Austin smiled happily. "Can you hand me my gun?"

TwistedShadow57: "Sure thing." he picked up the gun, tossing it up slightly, so he gripped the barrel, he handed it holster first.

KetlinNarris: Austin had to stretch to reach it, being a short man with short arms. "Thanks!" he made sure it was unloaded (it was) and started fooling around with it, randomnly twirling it about and taking it apart and the like. "You know whats fun?"

TwistedShadow57: "What's that?"

KetlinNarris: "Freedom! Damn straight! Also not having to remmeber my pills, seeing as I stopped taking my medication. Hasnt turned out as bad as I'd thought, either. Catch!" he tossed the gun towards him in a spinning spiraly thing.

TwistedShadow57: "GAH!" Asa yelped, barely able to catch it before it woulda hit him in the face. "What the hell!? You threw a GUN at me!"

KetlinNarris: "Its not loaded!" Austin insisted. "I checked like three times." (well, once actually). "And you caught it. You act so hot shot with yours, all those practiced moves... haha..."

TwistedShadow57: "But I don't throw it at people! I've hardly ever(try never) shot the bloody thing, I just practice alot!!" he said, looking alittle annoyed(to understate). "I thought I was the kid"

KetlinNarris: (lol not yet! I mean, have him realllly go off when austin gets really dangerous)

KetlinNarris: "You are, you are. You've never shot it? Gosh."

TwistedShadow57: "Not really anywhere too, ESPECIALLY when you're not supposed to have one."

KetlinNarris: "Huh. I'll have to teach you. Im told Im a pretty good shot."

TwistedShadow57: "Seeing how you Owned me at my videogame, I'd figure."

KetlinNarris: "But that's just a video game. Real life is much..." he just stopped in the middle of the sentance and went on to something else. "So. How'd you like to visit France?"

TwistedShadow57: "Wow, I dunno..." he thought for a second. "Heard it wasn't that exciting."

KetlinNarris: "Yeah but that's one of the major stop overs from... oh wait, we're leaving from the WEST coast. Hmn.... Ill have to check the planes again. Anyway, we are going to Europe."

TwistedShadow57: "Oh? Why would we ever do that?"

KetlinNarris: "Thats where my brother used to live. He might be dead now, but if he's not its worth a shot. Plus, out of the country makes our freedom more certain."

TwistedShadow57: "Good point." Asa smirked.

KetlinNarris: "I know it's a good point. im the genius remember? But first we'll have to hang out in the states for a while..." he frowned. "Airport security is real tight, like anything else going to another country. Plus we might as well use that time to make sure I wont go postal." A very big grin.

TwistedShadow57: "Postal?"

KetlinNarris: He frowned. "You know, start killing people. Aw, dont worry, Im much more likely to kill myself or screw up and get caught."

TwistedShadow57: He blinked..."Uh..."

KetlinNarris: "What? Thought you noticed Im psychotic. Anyway, I still think its all very unlikely, seeing as Im free and that makes me feel a lot better."

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, how nice..." Asa mused.

KetlinNarris: "Seriously... a lot of my problems are Mike's fault. Or, at least the reason Im not over them yet is Mike. And who he stands for."

TwistedShadow57: "Why's that?"

KetlinNarris: "Because he;s a bastard. Hey, is it lunch time?"

TwistedShadow57: Asa checked his watch. It was, actually, an hour late. "Yeah, I'm famished too."

KetlinNarris: "Oh Im not hungry, I was worried about you."

TwistedShadow57: "I think I'll go snatch some chow. Sure you don't want anything? Soda?"

KetlinNarris: "Maybe soda. Im just tooo happy to be hungry. Or something. I think the sleep did it for me."

TwistedShadow57: He nodded and headed off, coming back momentarily with a few slices of pizza and a couple of sodas, tossing him one.

KetlinNarris: he drank it as quickly as he could then layed back in the bed, still kicking his feet. "Wont you miss your family or something, kid?"

TwistedShadow57: Asa didn't move.. so much, he forgot to swallow, and the pizza stayed in his throat, until he choked, chugged his soda, and took a large breath.

KetlinNarris: "Well anyway Im sure we can manage a call or smething."

TwistedShadow57: "Really?"

KetlinNarris: "Sure sure. If we're on an airplane it wont matter.... or... I dunno. We'll figure somehing."

TwistedShadow57: "Thanks, I'd really appreciate it."

KetlinNarris: "We'll send pigeons! Bah. Ill think of something." And he did, and so fell incredibly silent. He had othe things o think of too.

TwistedShadow57: He sat in silence, putting away his food. He wasn't hungry anymore...

KetlinNarris: "Hey I thought... oh." Austin went from bright to "oh," which was a mixture of depression and seriousness. He sat back up and faced the boy. "Im sorry I didnt think to leave them a note, but we really will get a message to them soon. Even if we have to comprimise our position to do it."

TwistedShadow57: He nodded, seeming kinda lost in thought.

KetlinNarris: "Really. In fact, you can go back home anytime. You'll be safe if I convince them I kidnapped you. Its easy, I held you at gunpoint when we got to the school."

TwistedShadow57: "That's okay... I promised I'd help you."

KetlinNarris: "You have. YOu have no further obligation, if you had any to begin with."

TwistedShadow57: "I said I'd be here for ya, and I stay by my word."

KetlinNarris: Austin gave him somewhat of a stubborn look, thinking this out. "Your parents may want you home."

TwistedShadow57: "Are you trying to get rid of me?"

KetlinNarris: "Im making sure the 16 yr old kid I dragged with me knows what he really wants to do."

TwistedShadow57: "Well, I gotta learn responsibility..."

KetlinNarris: "Im really not a good example." O.o

TwistedShadow57: "I wouldn't say that."

KetlinNarris: He laughed. "Yes, but I did! You havent seen me be responsible in anything."

KetlinNarris: He gave him a O.o look. "well. Enough of that. If you've decided I wont bother you about it, cuz I think you know you dont know what you're getting into, and you should know i wont think you a wimp for backing out at any time."

TwistedShadow57: He nodded and kinda looked out the window.

KetlinNarris: "That reminds me. Sometimes backing out is the braver thing to do. Like me! AHha Im free!"

TwistedShadow57: He offered a weak smile as the terrain passed them by in the opposite direction.

KetlinNarris: "Being an assasine for an evil cooperation really suck d- Ahem. PG 13. I did resolve once to remain PG 13."

TwistedShadow57: "Sounds like a fucking plan." he said, giving him a smirk.

KetlinNarris: "Damn you! You think you can bend me, but you cant!"

TwistedShadow57: "...said the cursing man."

KetlinNarris: "Thats a PG 13 curse, isnt it? I havent seen enough movies."

KetlinNarris: (we'll never get them to the kidnapping if we dont get tehm off the train! LOL)

TwistedShadow57: (lol, you're call though)

TwistedShadow57: "I dunno, I only watch anime."

KetlinNarris: (right) With that, the settled into a pleasant conversation about nothing until austin asked for time to think about strategy. Then they got of the train.

Arc 4:

TwistedShadow57: "So, now where too?"

KetlinNarris: "Im not sure yet. Lets find a phone book and a bench," he mused, carrying their suitcase."

KetlinNarris: -"

TwistedShadow57: He nodded and followed

KetlinNarris: Oddly enouhg, they found both things, and austin sat down looking through it. "Hmmmnnn phone books can tell wonders..."

TwistedShadow57: "Like what?"

KetlinNarris: "Like what sort of charity organizations might exist in this town...."

TwistedShadow57: "Why would we..."

KetlinNarris: "Im just looking. If we have to pay for a hotel, that reduces our flying options and might give them a way to find us."

TwistedShadow57: "I see."

KetlinNarris: Austin yawned. "Geez, how could I possibly be tired? Anyway I just like to know a lot about a city....is that a ringing phone?"

TwistedShadow57: He blinked. "What?" he answered it, if it was...

KetlinNarris: (Its austin's) AUsitn took it from him before he could. It had been in their suitcase. 'Dammit! I forgot to ditch it.....should I...?" he looked at Asa. He actually looked scared. The risks were high either way.

TwistedShadow57: "Well, if they're calling, it's most likely something important... but tracking...uh..."

TwistedShadow57: He wasn't sure.

KetlinNarris: "Im not worried about tracking so much, tho they will." He closed his eyes. The ringing stopped, and the sigh he let out was profoundly relieved. "It could have been anyone."

TwistedShadow57: "But it wasn't, most likely..."

KetlinNarris: "I should ditch it." But he didnt, he set it down.

KetlinNarris: (on the bench)

TwistedShadow57: He scratched his head. "And you hang onto it..."

KetlinNarris: He gave him a hopeless look. "I dont know if I should... it could be....I mean, they might know I have it since I havent destroyed it."

TwistedShadow57: "It's your call, man..."

KetlinNarris: "I know...guess Im keeping it for now...

KetlinNarris: " he looked thoughtful. It started to ring again.

TwistedShadow57: Asa had no response, as he simply watched it.

KetlinNarris: "F---!" Austin picked it up and answered it. He didnt say anything tho, he just listened for a while. Then, "I heard," and a click. He put the phone back in the suitcase and stared at the phone book.

TwistedShadow57: "What...?" Asa asked, looking anxious.

KetlinNarris: Austin looked back at the suitcase. It was open. He looked like he might answer but then he picked up Asa's gun and stood up, pointing it at his head. If he had pulled the trigger then, Asa would NOT have been able to stop him, but he let the gun fall and said. "It's probably not even loaded. Let's go home."

TwistedShadow57: "What!? What is up...?"

KetlinNarris: "Im taking you home," he responded flatly, walking away without any of their things in his possession.

TwistedShadow57: "Hey, don't give me that BS! WHAT!?"

TwistedShadow57: He was starting to loose it.

KetlinNarris: "Actually we're going shopping first. Dont worry, i have a very good reason. They've got a hostage."

TwistedShadow57: "A hostage!? Who? Is it anyone I know?"

KetlinNarris: "Its sarah. They wont hurt her...Im turning myself in."

TwistedShadow57: "WHAT!?"

TwistedShadow57: "I'LL KILL THE BLOODY FUCKERS!" He yelled, loading his gun in blind rage.

KetlinNarris: Austin stopped walking, looking at the floor. "Come on. We should pick up our stuff. They havent hurt her or anything. they just drug hostages..... then lock them up.... with food and water. I should know."

TwistedShadow57: "The fact is they haver HER, those rotten bastards." he growled, placing his gun back into the brief case, loaded the rest back in, and took it up.

KetlinNarris: "She'll be free soon," Austin assured him flatly. "All they want is me." he looked around for a shop.

TwistedShadow57: "Wait... but..." Asa began to realize. "But they'll kill ya!"

KetlinNarris: Austin smiled sadly at him. "No they wont. But Ill have to change my cover. Maybe i can be a teacher somewhere else..." diverting the main point, of course.

TwistedShadow57: "But...man...I'm sorry."

KetlinNarris: "its not your fault in anyway. ANything you need from the store?"

TwistedShadow57: "I dunno...do you?"

KetlinNarris: "Yeah. I think I want white cloth."

KetlinNarris: "Maybe some soda. Candy bars...um.."

TwistedShadow57: "White cloth?"

TwistedShadow57: "To think about it... I need some cloth napkins and some wine."

KetlinNarris: "Yeah.....Cotton is the coolest thing in the world."

KetlinNarris: "Wine? Ok."

TwistedShadow57: "In bottles, mind you... "

TwistedShadow57: "No one can mix a moltov cocktail without a bottle."

KetlinNarris: "Ok. ANything else?" they stopped at the entrance.

TwistedShadow57: "What kinda store is this?"

KetlinNarris: "Looks all purpose."

TwistedShadow57: "oh. nothin then."

TwistedShadow57: (it would be good if before they departed company, he gave Asa the rest of the money)

KetlinNarris: (oookay. tell me why maybe?) Austin shrugged. "Then awit for m here. They'll ask me my age if you come with me, and I dont wnat to be flashing ym id around and have my jounry traced."

TwistedShadow57: "Alright..."

TwistedShadow57: (too buy "supplies" for a rescue)

KetlinNarris: (hehe. well austin is going in the store with a lot of their money oc)

KetlinNarris: "Well. And someone has to hold the weapons. Cant bring that inside," he said flatly, pausing to make sure asa aquiessed.

TwistedShadow57: He nodded, removing the weapons and placing them in his pockets.

KetlinNarris: O.o "Dude you're still going to have the suitcase."

TwistedShadow57: "Specify..." he muttered.

KetlinNarris: Austin sighed and dissapeared into the store for around 30 mins.

TwistedShadow57: He tapped his foot.

KetlinNarris: He came out with all the things they had mentioned in a bag. "Fun. I guess we should go to the train station now, tho I dont know when the next train is."

TwistedShadow57: "I guess..." sighed Asa. "I'm sorry man..."

KetlinNarris: Austin traded him the bag for the suitcase. "I even found snickers."

TwistedShadow57: "Yum..."

KetlinNarris: "I forgot to ask what kind of wine you like. But I got some red stuff and some white stuff. Then I bought a flower just to make them think Ihave a wife or something. Heh." he started for the station.

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, the type doesn't matter with a moltov." he snickered, just slightly. Mr. Secret Agent didn't have a clue what a moltov was.

KetlinNarris: "...Its been a while. And a long ways away. Im not familar with a moltov. I doubt you're familar with a sunriser, though."

TwistedShadow57: He sniggered alittle more. "Yeah..."

TwistedShadow57: (wanna know what a Moltov is?)

KetlinNarris: (yes!) "No you dont! You dnt know," Austin insisted almost calmly.

TwistedShadow57: (a moltov is a widely used WEAPON in the Middle east, favored by mobs and terrorists. It placing a kerosine soaked cloth napkin in a bottle of wine/alchohal, and then lighting and chunking it. A fire bomb)

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, I wouldn't." he laughed alittle more.

KetlinNarris: (Oh THAT) :"Good. becuase its imposible. YOu litteraly cant know."

TwistedShadow57: "I figure. I don't mix drinks."

KetlinNarris: "Thats not what I meant. I meant you could be an expert and still not kow."

TwistedShadow57: He shrugged.

KetlinNarris: "What do you mean you dont mix drinks? Whats this moltov thing?"

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, it's alittle thing, for your captors..."

KetlinNarris: He turned around abruptly. "No it isnt."

TwistedShadow57: He shrugged/

KetlinNarris: "I dont want you or your girlfriend getting hurt. If I didnt give a FUCK Id ditch you and run off now."

TwistedShadow57: "And so we trade your freedom for our lives?"

KetlinNarris: "

KetlinNarris: "I

KetlinNarris: *"My freedom is not worth two lives. It isnt worth one."

TwistedShadow57: "And why aren't they gonna kill you for this, Austin?"

KetlinNarris: "because they want me as an agent and I can lie well. And even if they were going to kill me, that wouldnt be worth your life either." he turned around and continued for the station. 'But whatever."

TwistedShadow57: He sighed.

KetlinNarris: "Do whatever you want," he said when they reached the station;s benches.

TwistedShadow57: "I'm going to get Sarah. But I'm not leaving you."

KetlinNarris: "Fine."

KetlinNarris: He sat down.

TwistedShadow57: He remained standing.

TwistedShadow57: "...what will they do to you?"

KetlinNarris: "Reprogram me or put me in a hospital for a while. Whichever I need most."

TwistedShadow57: "Reprogram...?"

KetlinNarris: "yeah. Reprogram."

KetlinNarris: "Obviously, If I ran away it didnt work."

TwistedShadow57: "How do you...reprogram a person?"

KetlinNarris: "Depends," he said emptily. "If I tell you everything they might make you an agent."

TwistedShadow57: "I don't know if that would be good..."

KetlinNarris: "it wouldnt," he agreed.

TwistedShadow57: "Ah..."

KetlinNarris: "Ill buck up and be an agent like Im supposed to be," he said with finality, then left to get tickets.

TwistedShadow57: Asa sighed, remaining on the bench. He felt so guilty... he coulda stayed home, and Austin would be free...

KetlinNarris: (no he wouldnt) Austin returned. "Well, we've got a train. You ok?"

TwistedShadow57: "Yeah, I'm alright..."

KetlinNarris: "You dont look it," he said, managing to make the statement sound like a demand.

TwistedShadow57: He simply shrugged.

KetlinNarris: "Fine." he sat down beside him. "Want anything? We've got wine and snickers. I even bough cups."

TwistedShadow57: "Alittle of each." he offered a weak smile.

KetlinNarris: "You've got the bag." he pointed out

TwistedShadow57: He took the items out, poured them both some and took a bite from his snickers

KetlinNarris: Austin didnt take the cup, though he looked at it briefly. Instead he stared at the tracks. "Fifteen minutes."

TwistedShadow57: "I see..."

KetlinNarris: "until the train, sill."

KetlinNarris: *silly

TwistedShadow57: "I know."

KetlinNarris: "no thankyou." he said to the cup. "I love trains...."

TwistedShadow57: "What?"

KetlinNarris: "I love trains. WHoever thought of them was a genius. Sure, everyone has always wanted to fly, but that was just engeneering. Trains are ingenuity."

TwistedShadow57: "A good point."

KetlinNarris: "Thanks."

KetlinNarris: (if he doesnt want to say anything, rp the train coming)

TwistedShadow57: The train came rolling down the tracks, the rattle sending a feeling of foreboding through Asa.

KetlinNarris: "Alright. Lets go. I bought us four tickets again so we wont be bothered." Ah-HA. That explains it!

TwistedShadow57: He smirked. "Good plan."

KetlinNarris: "Thanks. Im a genius," he sighed.

TwistedShadow57: He placed a hand on his shoulder.

KetlinNarris: Austin gave him a surprised look, then returned to his dulled state and headed for the train, taking the suitcase. "Dont forget those snickers."

TwistedShadow57: He laughed slightly. "Alright..."

KetlinNarris: Im so good at this. If I tried harder I could convince him Im really ok. Dammit. Austin walked unto the train and into their room, laying the suitcase at his feet and lying back.

TwistedShadow57: Asa plopped into his bunk.

KetlinNarris: "Going to sleep?" Austin asked.

TwistedShadow57: "I dunno if I can... so much on my mind."

KetlinNarris: "Take one of my pills."

TwistedShadow57: "Maybe the other half of the last one..."

KetlinNarris: "Go ahead. You half them." Please please please I cant wait much longer.

TwistedShadow57: He took half a pill, and started to grow drowsy. "Ugh..."

KetlinNarris: He didnt acutally make him sleep unless he was tired. AUstin started rummaging in his suitcase.

TwistedShadow57: "What are you dooooing..." he drolled.

KetlinNarris: Austin didnt answer him. He turned his back so that the boy coldnt see. 'Go to sleep."

TwistedShadow57: "What...are..y-" he passed out.

KetlinNarris: (AHAHHAHA)

KetlinNarris: (I mean....bad austin). When Asa woke up, austin was still there with his back turned, beginging to nod off himself.

TwistedShadow57: "Austin...?"

KetlinNarris: "mhh?" he asked groggily.

TwistedShadow57: "What.. where..."

KetlinNarris: Austin hugged himself tighter and started drifting off again sleepily. He seemed to be holding his shoulder, but at that angle it was hard to tell.

TwistedShadow57: Asa began to sit up. "You okay?"

KetlinNarris: "Eh, leave me alone," he said, trying to sleep. It almost sounded like he was talkign to someone else.

TwistedShadow57: Asa stood, circling around him. "Hey..."

KetlinNarris: He was definately holding his right shoulder. He was holding one of the white washclothes he bought tightly to his arm, though not so tightly now that he was drifting. "CAnt you let an insomniac sleep?" Austin asked, almsot kicking the open knife off the bed when he stretched.

TwistedShadow57: He picked up the knife, his eyes wide. "What the hell did you do?"

KetlinNarris: Austin tried to put his other arm over his eyes. why was that kid babbling? He felt fine now. (no he;s not suffering that much blood loss0

TwistedShadow57: Asa took a look at what he had done.

KetlinNarris: (lol)

KetlinNarris: Austin let him, peering at it himself. Oh...that's right. "Oh Asa," he said, "I'm so sorry..." What he'd done was add a clean cut to a series of 5 (now to be 6) horizontal scars of the same nature down his bicep.

TwistedShadow57: "What...." he asked, blinking.

KetlinNarris: "I did that."

TwistedShadow57: "Why...?"

KetlinNarris: "It...felt good." he looked embarrased and drained.

TwistedShadow57: Asa looked about for some alchohol and a rag. "How!?"

KetlinNarris: "With the knife," Austin snapped. "There's masking tape in the suitcase," he added less snapily

TwistedShadow57: He began to treat it. "I meant HOW did it feel good? Jesus, you cut yourself!'

KetlinNarris: Austin took the masking tape from him while he messed with the rags and wine, then used it to strap the rag unto his bicep. "You wouldnt understand," he sighed, ducking the question. And it was obvious BS: he just didnt want to get into how messed up he was for fear of getting snapped at.

TwistedShadow57: "That's an obvious load of BS. I understand that cutting yourself would HURT like SHIT!"

KetlinNarris: Austin winced. "Of course... of course it hurts... it's a release. I wanted to hurt myself. Probably sounds foriegn to you... I'd rather have slit my throat tho." He added quickly, "at the time," but Asa couldnt be sure if it was still true or not.

TwistedShadow57: Asa seemed rather pissed now. "IF YOU WANT A RELEASE, WRITE A BOOK! LISTEN TO MUSIC! DAMN IT, BLOW SHIT UP! But none of this crap..."

KetlinNarris: Austin closed his eyes a moment. He deserved to be yelled at. He did. But he was having trouble taking it well, and so his voice was cold and distant when he replied, "I;ve tried other ways, and it always comes down to ending my life. One way or another, as long as Im still who I am."

TwistedShadow57: Closing his eyes was not the best idea. This was punctuated by a fist in the face. "Snap out of it! Sheesh, I know you're stronger than this damn it!" Asa said, still angrily.

KetlinNarris: Every muscle tightened. No. Dont react. You do NOT want to hurt this boy. His eyes were open now, and burning with that same coldness in his voice. "And yet I come back with my tail between my legs for Mike to beat. Fuck you, you dont know anything about me."

TwistedShadow57: Asa took a step back. "I think you fail to realize that you aren't as hard to read as you think." he replied, his brow furling.

KetlinNarris: Austin shrugged, letting the tension go slowly. "I've let you see a lot. But i havent told you a damned thing. If you knew so much about me, you'd let me kill myself."

TwistedShadow57: "Bull shit." Asa said, walking out and slamming the door. He needed some air.

KetlinNarris: Austin took a deep breath. That was the wrong thing to say, and he recognized that. It was just hard for him to seperate himself from his training, and Asa was the type of boy who would hold all life in high esteem. He saw the world in more black and white that way. F*ck, he'd only cut himself. It would be the sixth scar on his bicep there...

He should go get hte boy, so he put his shirt back on and stepped out quietly after him.

TwistedShadow57: Asa leaned against a window, staring out at the passing scenery

KetlinNarris: Austin stood behind him. "Are you done yelling at me?" he asked in an even voice.

TwistedShadow57: "...you done with the cutting." he replied in similar tone.

KetlinNarris: "I can be," he said in a hard tone. "Come back to our car."

TwistedShadow57: He didn't say anything and followed him back.

KetlinNarris: AUstin sat back on his bunck and took his shirt back off, then started undoing the bandages. "I have to do something obsessive. Excuse me a moment," he said in a distracted tone, then counted the scars on his arm as if they might have up and left or somehting. He started redoingthe bandage. "Ok. So. Anything you want to know about me, so you can back up your crazy claims about being able to read me? We've got a lot of time for me to wish I was dead before we get back. I might as well tell you whatever the hell you want to know about how and why."

TwistedShadow57: "How'd you come into this...job?"

KetlinNarris: "I suppose you dont mean the teaching one?" he scoffed slightly. "I was asked." Austin giggled, "With a gun pointed to my head. I was already being trained, it was jsut a matter of them telling me what the heck was going on. Would you like a drink?" This last statement referred to the wine bottle and cups he'd taken up into his possession.

TwistedShadow57: "Uh yeah, sure... who're your parents?"

KetlinNarris: "...Some smart people hwo had casual sex and gave me up for adoption." He shrugged, handing the boy a filled cup.

TwistedShadow57: "Oh..." he said, taking a sip. It was rather decent, nothing special... either way, he drank it. "So, you became some kinda secret agent?"

KetlinNarris: "Yeah. Assasine, etc, like I told you earlier. Thanks to my parents...I was realy smart, and because they worked in th government already, the government knew I probably would be too, so they sent an agent down to start my training. he was my "tutor"-- you know, for school. Sneaky, eh?"

TwistedShadow57: "Yeah... wait, is that why you became a 'teacher'?"

KetlinNarris: Austin almost choked on his glass, then finished it. "Hell no! Like they'd trust me with that job. I'd turn the kid agaisnt them or something... I just lke math is all."

TwistedShadow57: "Oh, heh heh..." he laughed nervously, as he pondered more. "...how many people have you killed?"

KetlinNarris: "Please...it doesnt really matter does it?"

TwistedShadow57: "No, I suppose not... sorry." he said, showing appology in his face. "hmmm... any women in your life?"

KetlinNarris: "Not at the moment," he replied carefully, giving Asa a strange look. "I stopped noticing the swooning a long time ago. Apparently Im cute or something... THere's this one girl who's all over me, but I dont know that she's into me. I'm rather of the opinion that she's a slut."

TwistedShadow57: He laughed. "Why do you think that?"

KetlinNarris: "She tried to sleep with me the first day we met. I've seen her hanging on other guys... she's all for...free love or something." He shrugged, "It botheres me sometimes. I dont like being pressured like that, and she works with me..." He seemed more at ease now. Asa was asking questions he could answer without too much difficulty. He filled another glass. Time to get smashed!

TwistedShadow57: "Well, um, your like twenty, right?" Asa asked, tilting his head in thought

KetlinNarris: "Twenty one. Why?"

TwistedShadow57: "How old's she?"

KetlinNarris: "Um...17. 18? One of those two..." he blushed. That was another reason he wouldnt sleep with her.

TwistedShadow57: "Well, if she's seventeen, don't. If she's eighteen, make her fall in love with you. Simple, right?"

KetlinNarris: Asa recieved a blank stare for his comment. Austin sipped at his cup with a "hmph." Then, "Anything else you're dying to know?"

TwistedShadow57: "Yeah, why didn't you?"

KetlinNarris: Blink blink. "Why didnt I what?"

TwistedShadow57: "Except?"

KetlinNarris: (accept?)

TwistedShadow57: (yeah lol)

TwistedShadow57: (damn the english language)

KetlinNarris: (LOL)

KetlinNarris: Austin stared at the ceiling. Why hadnt he? "I guess...I didnt like her assuming I wanted to. Also, its not healthy for a relationship. But at the same time, I've no religious crap attatched to it."

KetlinNarris: (>.<)

TwistedShadow57: "Well, you might get another chance."

KetlinNarris: "..Yeah." All the life was gone out of his voice. "Assuming you're wrong...and they dont kill me...Having sex with Diana isnt exactly my life goal..."

TwistedShadow57: "Beats the hell outta dying though."

TwistedShadow57: "You said her name was Diana?"

KetlinNarris: "Yeah, I did."

TwistedShadow57: "Oh. Reminds me of a girl named Faith. She cheated on me with a girl named Chastity."

KetlinNarris: He had to smile at that. "Whoah, wait a minute...with a girl? Thats harsh. I was going to ask if you were out havng sex at your age, but I'll let it drop if you want."

TwistedShadow57: "Nah, I'm not." he laughed

TwistedShadow57: "It was just a little thing. Didn't get to date, never kissed."

KetlinNarris: Austin shrugged. "I was like that for a long time. Still am, for the most part. Now Ive kissed and stuff, but never dated properly, and not currently looking for a date."

TwistedShadow57: "Why not?"

KetlinNarris: "Im too busy with my own problems to burden someone else with them."

TwistedShadow57: "But... they always make you feel better about it, and help you."

KetlinNarris: "So my onyl choices are the regular citizens I never get to spend time with because Im busy being an agent. For some reason, its not foremost on my mind." He sighed, suddenly wishing he had darts and a dart board. Oh well, he had wine.

TwistedShadow57: "Well, that Diana would be a nice confadaunt..."

KetlinNarris: "FOr all I know she'd turn me in for the things I think about our agency," he growled. "I can fake Mike sometimes, and that's enough for me... at least, I thought it was. But I just need freedom. Dammit."
