The basis for this story, not to mention the main character, kick butt. Variations of it have appeared in RPGs and the such, and I may modify the details, but this one looks rather hopeful.

Reaching Higher Realms
The general outline for this story is currently the plot of an RPG I started. I'm actually not certain if I'll write it, but it has been a (changing) idea for a long time.
