This is a prophetic
parable about the American experience of Christianity as seen through
the lens of the Columbia River, its discovery, and domination. As
today's river managers wrestle with the the dilemma of life lost and
power gained, they now attempt to put life back in a dying river. This
is a story of life vs. power. And because real spirituality is
imminently personal, my own experiences and observations with
Christianity are recounted in tandem with the larger story of the
river.
