This a book published on the Freedom's Ring website. It deals "with the practices of the Churches of Christ,... many of the same basic arguments will be found in some form in most other churches which still keep women in subjection to the men of the church. It will deal with those which forbid women to participate or limit their participation in the specific traditional male roles in the public life of the church." (quote from book)

INTERNATIONAL REPORTS ON VIOLENCE AND ATROCITIES
AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS

In America, between 1987 and 1991, females experienced over 10 times as many incidents of violence by an intimate than did males (fact from ABA Commission on Domestic Violence) Go to THIS PAGE,

for many hotlines and other phone numbers for help.

HOWEVER, violence and atrocities against women and girls is currently a worldwide epidemic. Religion (including those who will quote from the Bible or Koran), 'honor' or manhood,  racism, and ethnic warfare or 'cleansing', are the rational often used for this violence.

According to Amnesty International reports, violence and atrocities against women and girls is currently a worldwide epidemic. Religion, 'honor' or 'manhood', racism, and ethnic  'cleansing', are the rationales often used for this violence. War crimes against the women  have also become far too common amongst warring nations or tribes.
